    Really? IU was subject to 5 major NCAA infractions, then it fired Sampson. I guess you don’t consider the top B1G teams “high proflle,” along with the many top flight games IU has scheduled over the years, and UK’s Cal being scared to schedule IU and running away.     I don’t disagree, the system aint perfect by a longshot, but having to cross compare over multiple conferences, mid majors and others who just won’t have the same strength of schedules etc, a lot of variables. They absolutely mess it up, but gotta have a system. I’d rather a consistent system with known measures but it is what it is

    The only way to select teams is to come up with some formula or “metrics” to cross compare differing schedules, conferences, etc. The “best” otherwise is simply subjective. That’s not to say they don’t screw it up and weigh things differently in different years and leave out teams that “should” be in, no system is perfect

    Makes the game against Rutgers all the more important imo. Win that game and, imo, we're in. Def want at least 1 W in the B1G tourney, but tend to think a 3rd W over the past 3, against Rutgers, would do it.

    It's like the inverse of the Crean teams, lol. I'm betting our O is a lot better next season, but man it needs to be, with wing play, p&r with guard play, inside-out and significantly increased outside shooting, yesterday looked like the kind of balanced game we'll need

    W on the road, in the barn, in a MUST WIN game, we pulled it out, we got Rob back, 2-4 from deep X had another strong game back to back, I mean 8 - 1 assist-turnovers and scores 24 on 7-16 and 4-6 Geronimo and Bates came to play 10-21 from outside and 70% at the stripe We're back at .500 I'm definitely good with this win

    Related, when Galloway is back, hopefully tomorrow, i would love to see him used baseline like how Troy was used offensively. There are similarities to their games, both explosive “downhill” to the rim, Galloway has shown a strong baseline drive to a reverse dunk, he should be poised for it regularly
