Could well be, but imo too early to know. New team, frosh in starting lineup getting her college legs, less reliance on deep shooting, playing at a much faster pace— which requires more cohesiveness as a unit. We’ll know a lot more as the team gets closer to the midway point. This is just 1 early game with a new team and style of play

Going to be a challenge and probably a game of lead changes. Smart’s pressing, running team vs DeVries’ similar style. We have better outside shooting, need to be hitting- take advantage of that. They have better size and will likely try to exploit it. They don’t crash the boards well so there’s that. Our guys need to avoid forced TO’s as much as possible and foul trouble. Do that and hit our shots well and we have a good shot at the W, won’t come easy. Glad we had that Baylor exhibition experience

I really didn’t understand when some here downplayed Socka coming into the season. She’s a beast, and she and Ciezki play off each other with the long-range and inside game well
