Two things blowing me away lately in the League - Haliburton is amazing. I haven’t seen a guard assist like he does since I Thomas. Effortless, 20 assists and 0 TO’s? While carving up the D and scoring with a smile? This dude just may be starting a HOF level legacy, so nice to see him in a P’s uniform building them back. - Wemby is that generational player, the guy who can dominate anyone, the kid is only 20, that’s just nuts. Name the 20 year olds with his skill, control, ability to go at guys like Greek Freak and put on a show in their rookie year. He moves and handles the ball like a skilled guard, has a sweet shot, athleticism is legit, can dunk on and block anyone and on the run. Think of this kid at 24-25. Really hope he stays healthy, what a phenomenal player. (And that P’s-Bucks battle between him and G was special.) Yeah, if I’m Pop I keep delaying retirement— what a blast he’s having coaching this kid

Well, that was a bad game. I'm not in the camp of panicking after a bad game, to me it's overreaction and predictable. That said, we have the same issues under Woodson that we've had for a couple years now, lack of outside shooting and wing play -- which for me starts with Woodson / the staff. We don't emphasize the outside shot, and now we have trouble defending it, which is mind-boggling. We have shooting, we've seen it in a couple games this year, run plays for the perimeter game, run plays for Bako, etc., stop with the well, take the shot if it's really good and our only real option (that's what I see). Emphasize it, play inside-out -- we just saw an inside-out game, where is it now? And all that said, I'd bet on seeing this same team now win some of the games we expect them to lose. They will bounce back, and Nebraska is not a bad team, that wasn't a "bad" loss come tourney selection time, a lot of this calling for a coaching search is over-reaction and premature. If we get to the end of conference play and they've still played like this and we're an NIT team (and we may be), discussion makes more sense then, to me Flip side to all of this is how quickly we forget we had JHS last season and he was a truly outstanding guard. Staff's focus in recruiting and portal should be guards and wings. If they fail that again, I may be jumping on the coaching search wagon

All fair and probably most likely— but I’d add a couple keys - if Mast is out that’s their leading rebounder and a top scorer. - Flip side, Ware is by far our leading rebounder, we’re a surprisingly weak rebounding team (Malik needs to rebound better and soon). If he’s out I think we’ll get killed on the glass. If he plays he’s a real mismatch, he’s stepping out and hitting really well, and he’s almost at 10 boards a game. We need Ware in this one imo. Hope X plays too

Ranting, on the body… It’s just wrong. It’s just not right, that my facial hair growth (and fingernails) now outpaces the hair on top of my head. I mean, why? Is it more important to keep your face warm than your head? Is it some kind of old world camouflage that I’m not aware of? We had to blend in with the bushes when peeking out of them hunting - and did we grow claws too? It’s like insult to injury that I have to shave all the time, but not cut my hair! Cant we reverse the two? Shave once every 5-6 weeks? Please?

OG hit the ground running in NY 7-12 for 17 and 6 boards in 112 - 106 W over the T-Wolves (who are 24-8). He did that while actually fouling out (35 min). Led all players plus-minus in +19

If this were to happen, I think people would be upset. :)

I’m about to get my dance on too

Man I miss those Hulls - Vic teams

OG is such a solid 2-way player, strong move for the Knicks. Will be interesting to see if he takes on more of a scoring role, or continues to be that strong 2-way, lockdown defender who also scores 20-30 at times
