Unreasonable and basically unachievable -- anywhere. 3 FF's in 5 years?? Haven't read through this thread but don't think we ever did that before, so confused as to how in the world doing so, for the first time, would be 'back.'' For me, conference championships absolutely matter. They -- along with regularly competing at the top of conference -- are a much better barometer of how good a team/school is than its MM runs, which, clearly, are 1 and done games in the 'madness' setting of the tourney. Winning well regularly in conference is the route to a championship, in any event. I'll go with regularly competing at the top of the B1G, with at least 1 conf championship, and consistent NCAA tourney runs, no NIT's, with multiple SW16's and at least 1 EE over a 5-6 year period (with the assumption that level of success continues forward)

We’re well outside the NCAA tournament right now, but fanciful as it sounds I wouldn’t necessarily count us out yet. We’re better with X starting warts and all, Bako is becoming the player we anticipated, gotta get our sidelined star back and that’s looking more likely, and the next bunch of games are winnable. Tourney selection doesn’t often look at conf tourney showings but that may be what it comes down to

I remain cautiously - very cautiously- encouraged by the return of “good” X and starting, and the effort, also reflected in Bako’s double double and the overall team fight that had the game close on the road against a strong Illini team (i feel dirty acknowledging that). Going to be very difficult for this team to make the dance at this point, but it starts with an absolute must win against Iowa. Sure hope we get Ware back, boot off is good

Naahh just ignore the fact that guys actually shoot at a good percentage, despite the complete lack of sets and plays to create space and move the ball inside out. So much easier just to blame players without actually looking at guys shooting or their efficiency. and X is 39%
