  1. Maybe not yours or mine personally… but you still need to make them hear the roar of discontent. The roar is everywhere— the media, HT, Star, everyone is loudly expressing their discontent. In all seriousness emails from fans? White noise
  2. Man, I have a high opinion of myself — I’m great in my own mind — But even I recognize that Dolson and the BOT don’t give a rats Azz for my message board man opinion lol
  3. 100%. A good, engaged coach would be winning some of these games, we have the talent to win, even with X out with injury. In my opinion, Woodson is for some extraordinarily bizarre reason stuck in a stubborn rut view of play through the post play coupled with a complete failure to recognize the failures his system has produced and inability to hold himself accountable. I'm at the point where if it were my decision I'd go ahead and work out his separation -- I'm fully confident he'll be here next season, but have no confidence we'll see anything different from him. Have great respect for him as an IU player and member of the IU family. But he's lost my respect as an IU coach.
  4. The way he continually throws his players under the bus and refuses to be accountable has just rubbed me the wrong way -- compare him to Moren, she doesn't do that. Maybe she can take over for Woodson. (Lol)
  5. Was nice seeing our ladies shut down Ms. -half-woman-half-amazing C Clark -- heck of a showing. Need to watch more of the women's games, so much more enjoyable than the men's....
  6. From my FB feed, feels like it fits here lol
  7. Ginos East - or your other favorite Chicago pizza stop, Gotta get pizza in Chicago while you're there, and do the Lake Shore Drive, talk about scenic -- BTW the weather has been great there recently (my son's finishing up at NW) - Enjoy!
  8. I'm positively not thinking about last night.
  9. and the end where he does the double take on his bike when the kid says "Bonjour Papa!" Lol, this movie is such a classic.
  10. This is worse than anything I can remember under Miller. That’s as bad as it gets. This is genuinely horrible
  11. Except i’m not @mamasa hahahaha
  12. I’m somewhere between the two of you. People aren’t going to despise Woodson, but assuming things don’t improve they’re (and I’m included) going to be very disappointed in him. History matters, it’s not the end all, but both are in the discussion for some of the best to play for IU, and both represented IU exceptionally well including after IU. All that said we need modern coaching, minimally bringing outside scoring and guard-wing play to the floor, and energy in recruiting.
  13. Disagree. This board is def more positive — and respectful— overall, and I say that as a former mod over there. And hey, there’s a positivity thread here! :)
  14. So, you got one of the wild turkeys?
  15. Get a W at home, over a lousy road team, Woodson, please IU - 77 Neb - 74
  16. That was such a blast. I still remember walking to the neighborhood 7-11 in waist high snow, dragging myself the last 100 feet or snow — to get some snacks lol
  17. Per the rumor mill, so don’t quote me or anything but — Woodson apparently was spotted today, climbing the hump
  18. I’m probably older than you (50s) - Btown didn’t upgrade its snowplows and crews until the Blizzard of 77-78 that shut down the whole town for 3 weeks, even closed IU for weeks - and that was a blast for a middle schooler lol
  19. My very early years - up to 6 years old - were in Concord, NH -- I still remember -40, and jumping off our 2nd floor back porch to slide down the 2-story snow bank to the bus stop -- to GO to school. Moved to Bloomington just before I turned 7. First winter day there was a slight dusting of snow. I stood out waiting for the Bus. No one came. Monroe County Schools closed Due to Snow. Lol
  20. Well, I got my first Porsche this weekend (718 Cayman GTS 4.0) - drove it in to work today, it's like holding back a crazed dog on a leash as it lunges for your neighbor's cat... :) So pretty hard to be negative, I'm in a positive state of mind! And my oldest is finishing (finally!!) up at NW (staying positive, trying not to think of all the money...), middle child a semester away from graduating at Univ of Houston (recently survived unscathed after getting run off the road by a street racer), youngest just landed a big internship in the Netherlands, heading into her senior year at Vanderbilt - where she's on a full ride -- and all are healthy, so very positive. Let's see us land a talented point and a strong outside shooting guard with handles, keep the positive vibes going
  21. Glad to hear your daughter is safe and all's good - you taught her well!
