If UConn was shooting even half decent from 3 they'd be ahead

For sure and UConn's shooting has been miserable. Mullins has been slumping pretty hard recently. They won't get enough from guys other than Reed and maybe Karaban. Solo Ball is a much worse shooter than he was last year. Really kills UConn

Agree, tend to think he will be on his best behavior tonight, but totally possible he gets an early T trying to spark something for his team and/or sees they're going to lose in the final minutes and decides to go out with a bang. Lol

Please do not disrespect Curt Cignetti like this. Definitely doesn't help your case that you're an IU fan in any way other than basketball. Basketball has been bad here for decades. Football is king now. IU fans can absolutely lament the decline of basketball but there's little basis to want to trade football success for basketball success, other than emotions.

There's some element of luck in hiring a generational coach like Cig, but no need to discredit Scott's role in turning IUFB around. It more than paid off. We won a title in the biggest college sport. That's a huge deal. No pitchforks should be out for Dolson because baseball and women's basketball aren't good right now lol. Furthermore, it's WAY too soon to write DDV off as a loser. I was also underwhelmed by his first year and think McCollum is a great coach. But McCollum was 99.99% never going to go anywhere but Iowa. Sometimes money can't buy everything. And our AD is on an incredible financial trajectory because of Dolson and Cig's success, so there's hope for the other sports.

UNC could do worse...

Not guaranteeing his future success although it seems like a pretty obvious good bet to me. That's based on the full body of his work not just this tournament run but no need to recap all the arguments for and against him. We will find out in due time.
