Tate Sage is a freshman. Iowa has a ton of underclassmen coming back that have contributed in this tournament. Return some good upper class men too. Onto the elite 8 they go.

This has a lot of added sting for UConn in that BC basically kept them out of the ACC according to many of their fans. It's bitter between those two.

Ain't reading all that. BC has had 3 coaches since 2009, which is also when they made their last tournament. The answer isn't to keep guys who can't get the job done around while you hope and pray they figure it out. -

IIRC a school's compliance department is required to enter a players name to the portal within 48 hours of them giving notice of their decision. And the portal opens later this year. Most of our potential transfers don't have much tape from this year. Maybe some guys who know they will transfer are waiting to announce while they figure out what their next destination will be. -
In summation this is a gawd awful idea unless you want to end up like Boston College basketball. Show us something to believe in by Y3 or it's up and outta here. No use for lame ducks

It's not inevitable by any means. Last year's class was ranked #10 by 247 for example. Of course, it had the benefit of being a 12 man transfer class. Now we are fully staffed and need fewer players. Hopefully we only sign 6 or 7 players who are more talented in the portal this time around.
