J.R and company are good dudes and I like their shows (especially during football season) but I doubt he has inside info. Could be wrong but doubt it. Definitely recommended people check them out though, again especially during football season.

Regarding Bailey: I like him a lot.....as a stretch 4 with spot 5 minutes. He is very good in high post/face up/drives. Strong with the ball and finishes through contact. Actually seeks contact but isn't weak going up with it (love that). His 3 point shot is good but very slow at gathering before getting into his shot. He'll need to work on that part of his game. Has a high BBIQ from what I can tell. Don't think you'll see him force crap when a double team comes (Reneau). His defense is an issue but if that can be coached up I think he could certainly play the 5. Bottom line he's going to be a good one that from an offensive standpoint will drive opposing B1G bigs crazy.

DeVries is fine guarding a 4 imo. It's when he gets switched onto a wing or guard that it becomes a problem.

He posts wild stuff to be funny or troll. He said Oats was going to Maryland along with a bunch of other outlandishly incorrect things.

Not effectively for any extended amount of time. He lacks lateral quickness and just quickness in general.

I've got bad news on the 20 pt loss thing. Every season DDV has had at least one 20+ loss and usually more than 1 and usually more like 25 pts. Hopefully that trend stops 25/26 season.

Perhaps Conwell wasn't about the right things in DDV's opinion. Could just be a loss due to $ or it could be one of those examples DeVries gave about passing on a high end talent if he didn't feel they were about "the right things". I'll trust him until I can't. We will have a roster.

He did not have a good DefRtg this year or really any year. Now, did the team dynamic attribute to that? I'm sure it did and I'm sure he's capable of improving but I'm not certain on being a plus defender.

Only issue with Dix, Goode and DeVries on the same team is they can't really be on the floor at the same time. They could light it up but wouldn't stop anyone. I agree that Dix and Conwell can play together and it's not an either or.

Could be 4 if you had TD, LG, RC and JD. Last time that happened was 12-13 with JH, CW, VO and either WS or YF (can't remember which one).

Idk I think Arkansas is above Florida and Bama in basketball. Traditionally strong program with Walmart $ backing it. It's not a bad list but I'd put UCLA and Villanova lower and move UConn up.
