This. Retirement age in the coaching profession is not even close to what all of us view as our target retirement age. Some do retire early and some coach until damn near 80. So while yes DM could retire in 5 years, he could also retire in 20.

He would be the best x's and o's coach we've had since Sampson at a minimum and possibly since RMK. Plain and simple he would coach circles around Woody, Archie and Crean. We should be happy we are getting a significant upgrade in that department if in fact he is hired.
