Whales are mammals. Just so we're all clear here. So more like a marlin or shark or?

1. Wade 2. McDermott 3. McCollum 4-366. Anyone but Brownell 367. Brownell 6,856. Turgeon

And argued with Eric that Xavier Johnson being healthy last year would have made a big impact. I agree he knows nothing and when called on it he used the phrase "from a 30,000 ft view". Yeah well us here at ground zero probably have more insight then huh, dumb @$$

This auto correct to Ole'...whatever has @Hovadipo written all over it. Tell me I'm wrong. -The Bowler (That Doesn't Bowl)

In the realm of up and comer/mid-major types I'd be happy with Schertz, Huss or McCollum. I think all 3 could do very well at IU. I personally think Schertz would have the most entertaining style. I believe McCollum would be the best x's and o's guy. I think Huss would be the best recruiter, in terms of getting high level guys.

I agree. I don't think either will be the coach but of the 2 Wade is more likely and actually the more preferred of the 2 for me.

I'll also add that I thought it to be telling that when the search began that Thamel mentioned Dolson's decision not being affected by timing. Essentially said that he'd wait as long as needed to get the right guy. That would actually coalesce with Torres' "wait" and UK report. Again, I'm not suggesting Donovan to be a real possibility but he's not as far fetched as he has been in years past.
-
People automatically disregard Donovan, yet think Stevens is a real possibility. I don't think it'll be either but Donovan is actually more realistic imo. He is not going to be coaching the Bulls or likely any NBA team next season. Also there were reports (Aaron Torres) that Donovan was willing to listen and possibly take the UK job last year had UK been willing to wait. Don't know how true that is and it doesn't completely add up but I think Torres does know some stuff. Is Donovan just going to be done coaching at age 59? Who knows but I'd say he's much more attainable at this point in time than Brad Stevens.

@Chris007 is 100% not a troll. Come on. Dude is in every game thread and everywhere else posting with us. I believe he hears stuff and then shares what he hears. Is it always accurate? No. Is it sometimes accurate? Yes. 2 names are examples of him hearing some accurate info come to mind, if you were around at that time, Cliff Marshall and Brandon Johns. I appreciate Chris as a poster not an insider. His posts are funny and genuinely from a die hard IU fan. Now as to everyone else? No freaking clue but there are people that sure like positive affirmation a little too much imo.

Read where some said Drake's pace didn't matter because they're efficient. Drake is 80th in kenpom in OE. IU is 62nd.

Given the update: 1. Donovan 2. Lloyd 3. Wade 4. McDermott 5. McCasland 6. Schertz 7. McCollum

Also I am now happily married (most of the time) with 2 daughters. I have never and will never harm a woman intentionally. I also would kill a mf'er that did so to my daughters. It's a very strange circumstance to be in when something goes awry and the worst comes out of someone though.

When this whole thing came up I posted my close to home moment. I had an ex that went absolutely psychopath on me. Started punching me, throwing **** etc. I had to restrain her by wrapping her up and holding her arms in place. I probably used more of my strength than necessary, presumably adrelanine in the moment, until she calmed down. Afterwards she had "evidence" of me restraining her on her upper arms. Had an officer investigated they probably would have said I was guilty of something. Not at all true and she did finally calm down, apologized to me and thanked me for having the patience I did. Left her at that moment and never spoke to her again. Things can get out of hand and men will always be guilty immediately even if all they did was protect themselves. I'm living proof that there's more to the story than on the surface. I'm sure I'll be called a POS now but when things like this come up I always remember my circumstances.

While anything is possible the mover-blocker system is kind of in his DNA. I'd be shocked if he changed his system. Although, their championship run they did seem to run at a slightly faster pace and that team certainly had some horses. I have no data to back that memory up though.

There in lies the problem with Mack. The expectations and pressure of the job wore him down. It was reported that Louisville and Mack had a mutual agreement to separate. They were not having a good start, Mack was suspended to start the season and they were coming off a season with no NCAA Tournament.
-
Oh he's nowhere near the top of my list but I'd take him over Brownell (Bronwell) and Turgeon. Probably take him over a few others out there as well.

Someone that has been brought up but not talked about much that could be a candidate is Chris Mack

Lol it was requested by @Ryno6284

I don't recall any of us feeling anything other than pleased with the hire. Maybe I'm not recalling correctly.
