Coach Curt Cignetti to INDIANA... Forever and Ever, Amen!
rcbowla replied to mamasa's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Cignetti will get a better job than IU. Bohl is interesting although he hasn't been setting the world on fire at Wyoming. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

Sometimes I quote and respond before reading entire thread. Otherwise going back 100 posts to quote someone isn't worthwhile. And it's worse with Tapatalk lol. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -
Mgbako Arrested, Paying Small Fine for Misdemeanor
rcbowla replied to Jeff Flabjohns's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
To #3.....it could potentially be very dangerous. Remember police don't know the intentions of individuals. They also don't have the privilege to hindsight like we do right now. Police, at the end of the day, just want to go home after work like everyone else. So when you have a person not cooperating and then locking themselves inside of a car where you can't clearly see their hands you're probably doing whatever you need to do to enhance your chance of going home alive. Like I said I've heard stories that really opened my eyes to their perspective. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

To be fair those kids would have been maybe 10 when Calvin Johnson retired. Point is they aren't likely to remember the careers of any coaching candidate aside from highlight reels and what not. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

Kris Dielman? I'm sure you can't say but that's the best I got that overlapped with ARE lol Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -
I don't know, to what extent, how much the conference can dictate programs' schedules. But even if they can do that I'm not sure they would. The conference wants as many of their teams in the tournament as po$$ible. They need wins more than SOS at that point. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Also I see enough B1G ball that by the end of the season I'm ready to see IU play any other style with any other officials. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The problem is though teams won't schedule the "tough" games with fewer games to play. They'll just keep the "cupcakes" and eliminate the 3 or 4 "tough games". Otherwise I'd agree with your idea. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Just a little closer to no longer having OOC marquee matchups. Bad decision if they were to do this. In fact I'd say the right approach is to go the opposite direction and back to 18. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

All depends how civil things had been to the point of the request. In my experience you get the respect you give in interactions with police. I also am a little biased as I have officers in my family who have shared their perspectives with me and has affected my outlook on things. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

Not giving you crap but that rendition of the story makes MM seem like Opie Taylor. My guess is the truth lies somewhere in the middle as it typically does. Also 18 year olds are adults and police do not have to allow a parent to be present. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -
Well I'm a fan and not a GM so yeah I care about wins. Last year I was fine with tanking to get a QB but I can't go on and on hoping for better draft position. And as for the refs are you arguing that the IC call that occurred as the Colts get the sack fumble didn't in fact change the outcome of the game? And that said IC call wasn't a terrible call? That sir.....is what I'd call an awesome day. Don't remember if IU won the CRC or not but regardless a cool day. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The illegal contact call was complete horse ****. Of course they made up for it with an equally horse **** call. I don't typically like to blame refs but I'm blaming this one on them. For the record all of r/nfl agrees that the officiating dicated the outcome and was completely atrocious. Even some Browns fans agreed. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Hadn't heard about Peegs not previewing it. I'd say that's a pretty clear sign. Even more than the Trilly gif. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

Yeah that argument is weak and biased. If IU had put all of those guys into those positions the narrative here would not be "they were already good". Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

It all did happen pretty late. I'd assume by morning you'll see the flips come rolling in. I never felt as good about this one as many others did. I am also in the camp that thought the 'Stranger Things' stuff was a bit of a stretch. I think it had more to do with 11 and zero to do with IN. But fans be fans so run with whatever. All I have to say is I hope Gabe Cupps becomes the next Ryan Arcidiacono and everyone hoping for him to be recruited over eats their words. How hilarious would it be for him to lead us to a title while Fland spends one season at UK averaging 8 and 3 and goes to NBA after UK loses in an 8/9 tournament game? Had one for Darius Garland, Trey Kaufmann, Shake Milton and others that didn't commit to IU. Not saying it's not a good thing but don't necessarily think it means anything is imminent either. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
