…unless they feel disrespected that they didn’t get the heart transplant earlier and now the warden is whining that the previous inmate got 4 years on death row, so this one also gets 4 years. Maybe longer. Maybe the governor pardons him. Maybe the governor pardons him and gives the warden a lifetime appointment to the IU BoT.

In the future, you don’t need to preface your posts with “this is going to be long”. We get it. We see your name at the top of the post and know that we are in for The Infinite Jest.

Well, we have reached the mark of the beast. 666 pages down, 2,000 left to go.

Don't underestimate IU leadership, calling them a clown show is an insult to clowns. That being said I wouldn't be at all surprised if they want to being him back after anything but a total dumpster fire of a season.

I don’t know about you guys but my future contributions are going to troll farms to shitpost about the top 25 teams, as a fan of those teams. Apparently, that will somehow level the playing field and make everyone else as ToXiC as we are.

What recruiting? If Woodson hadn’t made it abundantly clear he is not interested in recruiting I would say that announcing his future retirement would be a bad idea, but we are already at the 7th level of hell when it comes to recruiting. Tell the portal mercenaries that we are paying them more money than anyone else to come and join this clown orgy and the future is uncertain. If they don’t like it they can play for someone else. If you want to be a soldier of fortune, you should understand that you may not survive the next mission.

It seems like in a system like this, stakeholders (other than the AD) get to socialize every bad decision (AD’s fault) and capitalize on all of the good decisions (we did that). What is incentivizing an AD to not make their own decisions (since they will be blamed anyways) other than pressure from the BoT? This question is premised upon your claim that the AD has sole decision making authority when it comes to hiring coaches, but I would also like for you to address the fact that the BoT has to sign off on actually paying the coach, which effectively limits the AD’s decision making authority.

I don’t know if Dusty succeeds here or not but I do know he’d put his all into it because this is actually his dream job unlike Mike who just likes the title. Wouldn’t have to worry about dusty not out recruiting or not knowing people’s names. He plays modern offense and I think he’s a smart enough guy to adapt if something isn’t working. Can’t say either of those about woody

Don’t worry guys Bryan Nullins is visiting tomorrow. I’ll show him how I developed Tracy Jackson Davies with the help of my assistant Kenyon Hunter. I was hoping to add the little guy from UNC last year but missed out. Wish it would have worked out with Ian McNeely and Cory Bidunga but just missed on them. But I won’t stop trying to get us over the hump. You’re homie.

That is Woodson heading to his next tee time. He has been exhausted from all of his... something. Mike Woodson needs a little Mike Woodson time.
