They’ll use it as a sorting tool all right...one that’s sorts us along with the group of have nots (unless we beat Penn St, or they are desperate to find winning teams). Conference entries get political, with in my guess, the ACC and SEC having the most clout. With both having seriously down years, they will look to cover by promo’ing there teams - even crappy ones. If 10 B1G teams get in - that is 71% of a 14 member conference. That’s too much perception of power - the ACC can’t have it!!! Guess who’s in 10th place?

NET of 60 makes me super nervous! I know it is supposed to be a neutral general compare of teams similarly situated - but in reality seems to be a bit of a trashy measure that adds cloudiness to the picture to enable the committee to cut back room deals to do whatever they want. There seems to be little continuity with great discrepancies among teams’ resumes within the same decile. Hope I’m wrong, but I think there will be a huge amount of pressure NOT to let 9 or 10 B1G teams in. That will hit us hard with 60 NET!

Right now, 2nd week ceiling. Need to learn to string solid wins together better, and stronger resolve for consistency.

Haven’t read many of the posts above, but the NET looks like complete trash! How are we 58 - even before today’s win - when compared to some many other team’s with higher NET! Just looking at VCU immediately above at 57....1 net win. I get they don’t get the opportunities— but their record/ wins are crap. Input on how this (NET) influences tourney inclusion and seeding?

Poor DJ. It’s ok to mention why he left, and respectable reason, but man they’ve mentioned it 15 times!! Give em a break!!

We moved up 1 in Kenpom to 39 - #11 in the Big- f’ing ridiculous!! Holding down 51 - #12 in the Net - will be interesting to see movement there tomorrow.

Archie had these kids ready to go! Not perfect on game transitions, but exhibited some solid strategy (changing screens up last couple of plays, etc.). Also appreciate how he has continued to play big line up - even in the face of criticism - creating team commitment and continuity. They were all in together tonight! That makes a difference, and personifies Hoosier ball!!

How is f-Ing Purdue #27 in Kenpom @ 10-9 overall and only one top 25 win at Mich State and a lot of pretty bad losses. Something smells fishy. Next team with 9 losses is #64 Iowa St.

They have by far easiest conference schedule of all the teams that should be in the running.

Totally agree! Thought it was almost purely statistical after first few weeks of a season - but based on current numbers, have some really serious questions about its objectivity. Think Kenny Pom is tilting the scale a bit based on national hype!!

C’mon it’s The Ohio State! They’re still too busy fuming about getting crushed by Clemson to realize b-ball started.

Live by the sword, die by the sword! Green light on today- thank god! Good to see Rob ball - set the tone and made major difference. Not perfect, but big effort by almost all. Good to see everyone engaged. Nice job by Archie too - I like that he gave the team run, and that it worked!!

Gotta be happy with effort! Also, respect to Archie for coaching his game - even if he is ignoring the short line up stuff - for most part, full team came ready to play. Need to find good shots and hit them! I’ll take fair reffing in the 2nd.
