Let’s just win baby! That starts with talent - so find the best we can, whenever we can get it and develop it into a cohesive unit and positive culture. This isn’t the 70’s where it’s all static for 4 years. That’s Woody’s job!! Brooks is athletic and brings a bunch..objectively well above some of the other guys. With right attitude, which from the looks he has had at KY in a sometimes topsy turvy situation the past two years, he can improve team and culture beyond marginal level...and a lot of games are won by small margins!!! Galloway is an awesome, tough nosed Hoosier kid...he has, can, and will continue to contribute in any/every way he can. Pre-injury, he Showed he wanted it the most on the court above others a lot of the time. It ain’t always an either or...things work themselves out. let’s support the process, especially the players - and just win baby!

Man...there goes some game time bonding experience with my 15 yr old son on proper pronunciation, and how ‘ck’ never really is ‘soft’ in the English langauge. Guess we’ll have to find something new. What a real stinger it will be.

Heard rumor that Celts owner is DuKe alum, maybe even on the Duke board of trustees. Thought was that he played a major role in blocking Steven’s to IU...matching/beating huge salary numbers, with guarantees to keep in Boston in order to hold him back until K retires. Probably pure speculation, but crazier actions have gone down.

Trayce is entering a portal with a different route...to the NBA...no need to get re-recruited by college guys! More power to him - great kid!

They’re both still doing better than IU! So is Louisville, UNC, UK, MSU, Duke and many others. If rules aren’t enforced, and clearly they’re not - you either take the moral high ground and scramble to bring in a 4 or 5 star every once in a while..your results remain midling to average exacerbating the problem of lack of appeal - or you figure what it takes to win without completely being egregious (ie. Bill Self/Will Wade style).

Dolson needs to step out and address this. Giving the perception that he’s knocking on doors selling am way and no one is answering...that stuff catapults!

This...everyone and their mother getting a shot in. Dolson needs to get in front of the bad perceptions/rumor mill that makes things appear completely dysfunctional. If it’s not that bad, do something to get in front of it. If it is that bad, well, I guess we’re all totally F’d!!

Perception is reality until shown otherwise. Dolson’s job is to manage both! If all of the rumors are just noise/smokescreen then part of his job is to manage perception and control some of the message...instead of letting Goodman do it!

Well, if you’re managing this mother, then it might be time to step in and give a signal that you’ve got it under control and to ignore the noise - because there’s an awful lot of people piling on to make it appear to be the complete opposite.

If so, the train is off the rails and this is a complete and total cluster! We’re still causally shopping around two weeks in - while players are portaling like penguins jumping into the Arctic! If this is more smoke screen, we’re suffocating in it - enough!!

If it was Beard...you would think it would be announced ASAP after he lost in the tourney in order to slow down the exit stage left through the portal hole - and to pick up some players that r out there. Lil Richard to NM was announced almost before he got fired at Minny, Shaka was announced before formally fired at UT

AK nailed it! Wisconsin and MSU, and Iowa to a degree - carry way too much influence in setting the style of play. They can’t call them all hack-a-thons create crappy B-ball, call inconsistency and schizo players who have know idea what the rules are half to half, let alone game to game. Also, holding the Big tourney so late — Sunday 10 minutes before selections r announced - sends teams tired into their first games - when others have had a week+ off to refresh after their conference tourney games.

Let’s shut ‘er down! First week is all that counts!! I thought the winner is who most closely resembles IU’s season on the court...start off promising, then crash n burn! What r we playing for, there’s a prize for the winner at every round, right?
