Sucks to lose to Marquette. This will buy wojo time. I’m sure the Garcia’s were savvy enough to get comforable with his longevity from the admin there. And after all ‘it’s Marquette’! Wojo and record seems about right fit/level water for that place. This isn’t the end all, be all, but is a tough one for 2020. Back off on Rabby - guy makes a living following IU b-ball and other athletics and reporting on it - more power to him! He’s generally genuine and doesn’t cause malice or create controversy w innuendo or unfounded personal attacks ala Dackich. (let it go ole friend!!) Adds a bit more pressure for Arch to coach up and win now! We didn’t all start the race at the same place, but compared to his peer group (Mack & Holtman) he’s got some coaching, winning and recruiting to get on with!

Going to miss Tim Miles. Personality wise he seemed a bit like Crean, but much more authentic.

The middle finger NCAA playbook has been bound! UNC, Kansas, LSU, Az, many others. Memphis just opened it and played chapter 1. Memphis wins here - and got a behind the scenes deal w the NCAA to step down. Wiseman will sit a couple of cupcakes, then ball out. Emmert is nothing if spineless, and certainly knows when his balls are in a ringer and becomes VERY responsive, very quickly when he needs to. Otherwise it’s stretch things out forever and hope they go away from public memory. Everyone goes back to spreading around lotsa shiny pennies!

I would say it’s carrying over from last year, not developing! Tough to give full meaning since it’s early/experimental cupcake city, but some serious views to be concerned about.

‘ Suspended indefinitely’ for an expo game, and the first cupcake!! I bet Boehiem reported him and is whining like a Donkey on the indefiniteness of the suspension. Williard couldn’t have tampered with a more deserving team!

Help! What does ‘suspended indefinitely’ even mean now days? It sounds like someone would be kicked off the team permanently or damn well near it, but in reality seems to be more like ‘until everyone forgets so we can say we did something about it’. Like didn’t Grayson Allen get suspended indefinitely a few times during his intentional tripping benders - only to go take a quick leak and then get reinstated by K? Only time it goes the other way is when there is smoking gun criminal evidence against the offender.

Once this genie Exactly! Once the genie is out of the bottle, will be not be able to get back in. At least it will now be transparent to know how big of a payroll many teams have - and the market for talent can run above ground. Other teams will see what it will take to pay to win.

And this is different from current day how? If nothing else, it will surface the pay outs, and even the playing field for those trying to do the right thing from not even entering the game. The rich (blue bloods) likely to continue to dominate - but at least folks won’t feign integrity from them. Folks will/should know who is getting paid where.

Not that it’s a big secret - but I would take this as confirmation that he’s aggressively pursuing positions - maybe getting some solid interest. While it’s certainly semantics in this instance, resigning v being fired for infractions would be important distinction to a potential new employer. wonder if he is still pursuing suit against adidas as a victim.

Just another drop in the bucket/blip on the radar in MSU and Izzo’s program! Multiple incidents over years and years...what a great culture he builds. Can’t wait for for the game day commentators to continue to ooze over how wonderful he is and how he builds such solid character in young men. No accountability.
