  1. Physically healthy and that’s it. Still way out of sync due to roster instability and whatever chemistry deficiencies they’d had all year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  2. That's the second time I've seen that story, verbatim, but on a different screenshot. It's some b.s. someone's spreading out there. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  3. Quinones retweeted Zags saying it's due to a family matter and he will reschedule. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. Carsen Edwards announces he is draft-bound. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  8. Since this seems to be the most appropriate place for it to be discussed, does anyone know much about this gentleman running for the BoT? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  9. Beilein went to visit him today [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  10. I love that the buzzer beater to force OT was right over Punchy McPunchface. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  11. He needed a time out to think that one through.... But they didn't have one. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  12. Carsen will be a great NBA player because he can shoot but he can't pass. Sorry. Normally I'm more mature than that. But puck Furdue and the horse it rode in on. Forever. Don't hold this one against me. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  13. If the locker room info and the transfer info is coming from the same source then I'll also call malarkey. I was giving most of the story a fair chance of carrying some merit until it got to Kira Lewis. That's not happening and I doubt we're even a consideration for him. 14. People forget that while not only are the players developing and adapting to a new culture while said culture is not even fully established, so is CAM. This is his first high major. He didn't come into this thing knowing the exact right coaching techniques, decisions, schemes, etc to make from day one. That also takes a little *gasp* time. He came from Dayton. And sure, he has been an assistant at a higher level than Dayton, but I'd venture to say that's not exactly the same. Throw in all the potential background noise of this particular season that's now beginning to rise to the surface and you don't have an environment conducive to anyone's development, seasoned or not. 15. Oh Lord. Let's hope this doesn't go to social media (yes, I'm unrealistic), true or not. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  16. No not you. Whoever posted before you.... I don't even remember haha. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  17. Because I refuse to have Matt Haarms looking at me every time I open this app. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  18. I guess the closest thing would be LSU last weekend. But no... no true buzzer beaters [emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  19. It is if Carsen Edwards is shooting from the corner. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  20. Speaking of... The "committee" ([emoji849]) should come out with their criteria before the season starts. And maybe they do. But I find it ridiculous that only after the tournament selection is complete is when anyone finally hears, "Oh, well this year they/we really focused on number of wins vs quality/SOS, etc." Teams have a right to schedule to their benefit. I guess they did somewhat provide an inkling of what they are looking for this year with the Quad ranks and such, but to then hear the bubble was essentially determined quantity of wins makes that whole system seem like a complete waste of time. 21. Maybe the phrase should be "better than expected." Because they did play better than most thought they would. Romeo sitting out was their invitation and excuse to completely check out on the spot. I don't know if I'm being referenced to as a crybaby or not, but you get the benefit of the doubt. And NO. Of course they weren't going to play better without him than with him. No one expected that. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  22. You all know they could have completely folded without him, but they didn't. If you expected them to pound the competition and play seamless basketball at that point, after alllll the crap of this season, then I don't know what to tell you. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  23. And his psycho wife is where we want her to be, thank God. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  24. This. Few people are willing to recognize the hurdle this team overcame at the end of the year regardless of making the field of 68 (or not). 1-12 could have been even worse. But they rose to the occasion against some solid teams at the end of the year and still had themselves in consideration for March. They played better than expected without Langford. They seem to have overcome whatever personal dissonance was afoot during that stretch. And the injury bug; you’d have thought it was a communicable disease on this team. Believe it or not, there was a little positive in all that was the 2018-2019 season. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  25. Agreed. But he (Rob) still has the tools to lead this team. I believe we’ll be pleased as he gains experience, confidence, the team develops cohesiveness, and he can go concussion-less. As a freshman starting PG he had a lot working against him on top of Yogi being the measuring stick by which many people tried to measure him.
