  1. I was seriously hoping for fCTC... would have been fun to see that combo... but UGA got in the way.
  2. This AZ Hoosier is thrilled to see it. Can't stand the arrogance of the UofA fans... they're as annoying as pUKe... must be something about being a "wildcat".
  3. Given Crean's history of mediocre coaching, there's no need to fear Georgia becoming a power basketball school in SEC (or anywhere else)...
  4. Thank God and Greyhound, he's gone. And almost off the payroll.
  5. Georgia is a football school. He'd do well enough there that no one will notice. #clapClapClap #deflectionsYall
  6. Reports coming out now that there is absolutely nothing to the Sean Miller story. No wiretap. No payment. No talk of payment. #ESPN lied. https://www.si.com/college-basketball/2018/03/01/arizona-sean-miller-deandre-ayton-espn-report
  7. https://www.iheart.com/live/fox-sports-910-phoenix-41/?autoplay=true&pname=15400&campid=header&cid=index.html Listen live...
  8. Maybe... but "never" is a long time.
  9. Did the report come from ESPN? :D The local (Tucson) media is reporting the BOR meeting to discuss Miller's status... http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/story/37615538/board-of-regents-to-discuss-sean-millers-future-thursday http://www.kvoa.com/story/37615787/regents-to-discuss-millers-fate and so on...
  10. What happened to Archie's belief that some number of scholarships should be saved/not used every year? How does that factor into where we will be next season, personnel-wise? It looks like if there are no transfers, we have two open scholarships next year... Thankfully, we won't be dealing with the "perennially over signed" crap.
  11. I'd love to see Dane get a big gig somewhere... not sure MSU is the place... and there's always the tendency to clean house after a scandal, so perhaps he'll be looking for a job... I am not implying in any way, shape or form that Dane is dirty or has done anything wrong, but if there's a culture of abuse/violations/dirt at MSU (or any school, for that matter), there seems to be a tendency to paint the entire staff with that same brush.
  12. Wasn't sure where to post this... but here it is... Sean's loss is Stevie's gain... God bless us, every one.
  13. This is especially true of one touted as a "great recruiter".
  14. We had another coach who did that... seems like he turned out pretty good, at least for a good, long run.
  15. It's either magic or smoke and mirrors... can't be too certain at this point.
  16. In Newkirk's defense, he was the best FT shooter on the team at just a tick under 80%. RoJo, McRoberts and Green were next at just a hair over 70%. That may have been part of the reason for his extra PT... but he made me crazy at times being out of control, or at just being bad on occasion.
  17. I got two words for those sanctimonious DBs in Lexington: Eddie Sutton. And the legacy lives on.
  18. "When my life is over, and my time on earth has passed..." :D
  19. Corrected my post on team FT stats... above the average 16 times... under the average 14 times. Sorry for the confusion.
  20. On one hand, if he's dirty, he and the others need to pay the piper... However, how sweet would it be for him to be vindicated? ... Imagine how satisfying it would be for Vitale, Bilas, et all being exposed as the biased, big mouthed ACC fanboys that they are.
  21. Despite his rambling and his scrambled/baked brain, I find him quite entertaining. His interview on Dakich’s show several years ago was epic.
  22. Also, here are the individual player stats for FTA/FTM... the numbers are off just a bit from the game stats above (401/618 v 398/615), so take it for what it's worth.
  23. Here's a quick recap of FT for the season... overall, the Hoosiers made 401 of 618 free throws (64.9%). Season high percentage was 90% (9/10 v Wisconsin), and 81.8% (18/22 v Penn State). Season low percentage was 41.4% (12/29 v Howard) and 44.4 (8/18 v Rutgers). Most attempts in a game this season was 33 v Indiana State and 29 three times. Least number of attempts this season was 9 v Iowa and Nebraska. The Hoosiers beat their season average (64.9%) 16 times.
