A lot of this (most of this?) IS on Woodson. Roster construct is an embarrassment. In the pressers he throws players under the bus and talks constantly about "we gotta get better" and "gotta get 'em over the hump", but whatever hump they're trying to get over, Woody kills the efforts with the crappy substitution patterns and schemes... He's regularly out-coached game in and game out... and his arrogance isn't doing him any favors with comments like "I'm not gonna sit here and answer questions from the fans or you...". That attitude might work if he was winning... but he's not... and when he loses, he loses big time... and we're getting into the tough part of the schedule... it's only gonna get worse... @ Purdue, @ Illinois, vs Iowa, 2 against Wisconsin... Hope he's got a magical rabbit in his hat. EDIT: Corrected upcoming schedule

So, I am not allowed to have an opinion about that bone-head getting another flagrant foul? Nice... From reading the recaps here, it only strengthens my opinion of X...

And he ran two of them (Thad Matta and Dane Fife) off...

And even then, he doesn't listen to their suggestions or ideas.

Dial it back a bit there Tommy boy. You are entitled to believe whatever you need to believe to get through the day. So is everyone else here... I merely stated that we've all seen this movie way too many times... and we all know how it ends... We have a head case for a co-captain and our point guard. We have an arrogant and stubborn head coach whose staff is either "yes men" or completely ignored... and no real offensive or defensive schemes... within those parameters, I don't see much changing... but, like I said do what you must to get through the day.

You are entitled to your dreams... but remember, the best predictor of future behavior is past relevant behavior. Don't believe the hype and stop drinking the kool-aid.

How many times has Woody said in a presser that we shoot enough 3s, we just got to get better at making them? He must be watching different games than I am.

As head coach, it's his responsibility to "restock" the roster continually... clearly he doesn't understand that or doesn't have the ability. And with the product that he trots out there every game, it's no wonder most of the top talent isn't interested... He missed big time on guards from the portal last year, and so far only has Liam coming next year. Queen ain't coming, so next year will be Liam and whatever of this team remains against the world... Woody's time is up. Period.

And we still got less that we bargained for... he made the tournament with Archie's players... can't get there with his own.

And Woodson ran both of them off. Fife has said as much as Woody refused to hear his voice... and was dismissive of everything he (Fife) tried to do or suggest.

From where I am sitting, it's quite toxic... and not seeing much chance for that to change... the torches and pitchforks are coming out next... then what, maybe a few "for sale" signs in his yard?

It’s way past ugly already. Great showing vs Kansas. Nothing else to show for the year. Barely beat some cupcakes. Got blown out by every decent team, save the effort vs Kansas. The Woodson experiment is over and it’s been a dismal failure.

So, in addition to be a horrible game coach, Woody is also delusional. Time to put him out to pasture.
