    Credit Dolson or whomever it is that has turned up the heat on Woodson. Woodson is too stubborn to suddenly have "seen the light"... somebody has leaned on him hard, and thankfully, it's about freaking time. That said, Woodson is in over his head and still hasn't the slightest clue what he's doing, IMO.

    PR and positive spin is one thing, but to lean on Doyle et al to not write what they perceive to be true is much different

    Same... personally not an X fan, but there's a huge difference between not being a fan and wishing anything bad to happen to anyone. Hope whatever it is, it turns out to not be a serious injury.

    They can blow all the warm air up our skirts that they want, it doesn't change the fact that Woodson is in over his head and the natives are restless... No matter how much time Dolson and the university is able to buy, it won't change the fact that by the time they decide to do something, the basketball program will be that much farther down the rabbit hole.

    My comment had/has nothing to do with "sanctions", Sampson or anything other than the current situation with Buckner, the BOT, Dolson and Woodson. Don't drag me into your fight.

    And, to be clear, at this point in time, it doesn't really matter. Sampson screwed up. Someone self-reported, we fell on our sword and IU men's basketball went down in a heaping ball of flames... and 15 years later we have not recovered...

    Sounds like Buckner and the BOT has tied his hands... if Woody is Buckner's boy, there's nothing Dolson can do to cut Woody loose... so once again, IU puts people in place then hog-ties them to prevent them from doing the job that they were hired to do. But the $10M question is this: does Buckner REALLY think Woody is getting it done? He can't be that naive, blind or stupid, right?

    It's just another symptom of the overall problem... Woodson has no rhyme or reason for what it does, how he coaches or how he "disciplines". There are no consistent consequences...

    No sympathy for Woodson. He couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. He has no clue what he is doing and he's in so far over his head he can't see "up". He needs to quit, resign or be dismissed right now... for the sake of everyone involved - the team, the players, the fans and the university. And Buckner should be held personally responsible for this failed experiment.

    Getting a new team will only result in a different outcome with a different coach... one who has a clue what he's doing at a P5 college team.

    75% of the offenses are by a single, 6-year player who happens to be a team captain, and who has a history of coloring outside the lines.
