Throwing an elbow, regardless of how well it connects definitely shows a lack of character and maturity. Doesn't matter how badly he was goaded into a reaction... fact is, he reacted in a way that got him ejected.

Nope. Making free throws is a basic basketball skill. Just practice and practice and practice until you get better. Throwing elbows and taking other cheap shots at opponents demonstrates a character flaw in the offender. Big difference.

There are so many things in play here. X's behavior is a pattern of bad choices. Woody's lack of consequences send the message that "hey, no problem"... and then in the Wiscy presser Woody downplays the whole Gunn F2 as a "semi-elbow". Then there's Woody's arrogance in the Rutgers presser re substitution patterns ("I'm not going to sit here and answer that question when it comes to the fans or you"). Nothing wrong with being the smartest guy in the room... problem is, he isn't. He's old, stubborn, and we get what we get.

Two words: Woody's ego. I can't see that ever happening. Not saying it's not a good idea, but it's not going to happen.

This does a good job of expressing a sentiment held by a large portion of the fan base...

A good PG and a shooter or two may well fix the basketball side, but it does nothing to address the accountability or the culture of the team... not sure what the fix is for that part without a regime change.

This used to be the concern for kids going to the NBA, MLB and NFL making tons of money as 20 year olds with no self discipline, money management skills or sense of responsibility... all the NIL has done is move the starting date about 3-4 years earlier for these kids... lots of money and no life skills... can't imagine why NIL and transfer portal haven't been the success everyone thought they'd be. /s

I haven't watch a game since the Rutgers game. I've been saying that since X pulled his stunt in the Rutgers game... I was told to knock it off... but the fact that social media, the fan base and others are coming around to my position brings me no joy. X is selfish, immature, and there's no place for him to hide anymore. And then there's the fact that Woody is stubborn and will not adapt, nor will he enact any consequences for X (not starting 2 games? c'mon, man) or Gunn is incredibly telling. Lack of consequences for bad behavior only send the message that he condones that behavior. Woody really downplayed the whole Gunn elbow/ejection in the post game presser...

In the presser Woodson almost defended Gunn... he called it a "semi-elbow". THIS IS EXACTLY THE ISSUE. There are never consequences for this bush league crap... Woodson needs to go NOW.
