  1. Based on the CKW tweet. Which, does seem to imply that, but...   nevermind   Indiana❗ #IUFBros #Commit Thank you God for this opportunity Ready to get to work❗❗⚪⚪ #HoosierArmy #BOOM  Embedded image permalink
  2. That makes the most confusing announcement I've ever seen.   Still nothing on his twitter that I've seen.
  3. On his twitter I assume?    I'll feel a lot better about next season once we have a QB locked away. No matter what Howard decides, our RB corps are still pretty decent. We just need a QB who can take some pressure off them.
  4. A semi-conspicuous sign stating the area may be under surveillance or a statement the conversation "may be" recorded is all it takes to satisfy the statute here actually. I'll just slide a sign onto the wall.
  5. One-party consent but all-party knowledge state.
  6. Oh. I kind of put that in the Outlook Appointment Setter thing. Oops.   Though, no one hold your breath too much. I don't even know how much of a pulse I'll be able to get. All depends on how we play up until then probably for how tight-lipped they'll be. And a little bit where I end up sitting at the table.
  7. I mean, it's just two years with a minimal buyout. It's pretty much the definition of "least they could do". Especially if we get any extra monies from this whole endeavor.   I don't understand how bowl games payout at all, so I can't say if that contributes. I mean, I get there are payouts, and we have an agreement with the Big Ten our payouts go to them and they divide among member schools. But, I don't understand why it benefits us to make a bowl financially other than increased alumni donations. If someone else in the Big Ten was taking our place in the Pinstripe wouldn't we get the same payouts? Isn't it more important the total number of conference members going to bowls (and big bowls at that) since it's divided with members? All members get it not just bowling members right? The Big Ten has agreements to send teams to like 9 bowl games; what happens when we don't have enough bowl eligible teams? How do payouts work then?   I tried to do some research but it's mostly garbage and I don't have time to read the actual agreements if they're even public if I can even find them so, hopefully someone here better understands. Though, I predict everyone else has the same problem I do, I never looked into this before because it was never relevant to Indiana.   Near as I can tell, the CFP are what matter most, and putting two teams in would have been a massive paycheck. Plus winning. Winning seems to increase your payout. But maybe for only some games.
  8. One of the bigger boosters I know just pulled out of our meeting for January. So much for taking his pulse on this issue. If the usual group holds I'll still have 3 five-digit boosters in the room and talk to them about it though.
  9. McNeese State on the 12th
  10. Because he's better off the bench than as a starter?
  11. Maybe someone introduced him to a rival coach for a picture opportunity.
  12. Well, mentioning admins brought you here, what are the odds he shows up now?
  13. Cook looks seriously messed up. I can't tell if he took a couple hits too hard, it's his injury, or if he is just exhausted, but he looks like he is running on autopilot.
  14. Same screenshots are before? Weird. I'll bring it up with the admins about getting your upload limit increased some.
  15. Just crazy we can have this game put away for 30 minutes and there are still scholarship players only seeing 4 and 1 minute of action while we hear about how gassed our starters are.   It was good to see TB bringing some of his old energy back. His issues with location and opponent are classic freshman issues. We expect them to come in and be ready to start and play hard like at Duke or UK but sometimes freshman act like freshman. TB has never experienced something like Cameron Indoor. I'm hoping as the season goes on and he plays some more road environments he becomes even more comfortable and is a great piece for BS next year.
  16. That's fitting since we're a football school now and can use that game as vengeance.   I think they're right. When are selections made today?
  17. Pretty much what this thread is: https://btownbanners.com/topic/8771-new-coach-salary-and-criteria5-million/page-13   Just without the title and younger. I mean, 13 pages in about a week is pretty face paced. The Fire Tom Crean thread I think started after MSU embarrassed us at home 2013-14. So, 95 pages in about 23 months versus 13 pages of Brad Stevens love in 10 days...
  18. Nope! And MSU gets it anyway.   What a game. The only thing that could make it more intense is a blocked kick or a kick return putting Iowa in field goal range and tying it up to send it to OT.
  19. Bad news for Ohio State. Clemson just put this away.
  20. Do we get a double prizer for the fat stacks?
  21. Agreed. Is the Big Ten allowed to put two teams in the playoffs?
  22. Then MSU better hope Oakes transfers to them and quick.
  23. Amazing interception too. Has anyone tried the strategy of just piling guys on the ground so the ball can never touch it before?
