14 hours Bloomington to NYC? What route are you guys taking? Though, I guess at bus speeds it might work. It's about 3 hours high from my experience.

I'm not in that thread, but I got totally suckered. I still remember telling someone at work about how this was going to be our best year yet and finally the team to end our third weekend drought. I cringe all the time thinking about it. Embarrassing.

Where was the outrage when the schedule was released back when many thought this was a Final Four team? Or at the beginning of the schedule when tons of discussion happened over this Big Ten schedule and how easy it was?   Or was that a pre-reflection of the season?    Maybe, my snarky reply was right on point. I can't see anything indicating people cared where or when we played Purdue this season at any point, including when we had higher expectations. I feel like people made mistakes with the schedule in the past too. But, I guess that isn't very fun.

We are still getting ready to leave to go buy ingredients for Christmas dinner and haven't gotten the tree up yet. I don't foresee our most successful Christmas

Looking at those stands they could be from the second half of half our games this year.

If any of the details were confirmed it would help. I mean, anyone can write a really detailed story.   Interesting stuff for sure though, it would be interesting if anything ever came out of it. And I wonder how pervasive that kind of behavior really is in the NCAA. I wouldn't be surprised to see more and more people coming forward about that kind of stuff or recording convos on the fly for proof.

Did you guys know Hud Mellencamp plays for Duke? That's kind of neat. AZ Hoosier posted this HT front page in another thread and I saw the article on the left.  

Love them both. Well, I hate the Cardinals, but it would be a perfect situation for Nate. I'm sorry he isn't looked at as an elite prospect, but I'm glad he is falling about where he'll be drafted to sit behind someone and really learn instead of being the team's immediate hope. Somewhere where he won't be destroyed by the coaches.   I'd like Spriggs to go somewhere to start at LT instead of getting flipped, but I'm having trouble thinking of anyone who is really looking for an LT enough to spend the draft capital that early. He's just such a good pass blocker that he'd be wasted on the right. I guess if he can work back over at some point.    That's about the highest I can see him going though, it might even be a little high. As much as I hate to say it, if he'd played somewhere else he'd be in a better position.

Yeah! It's pretty cool. I'll have to look through and see what they've got at some point. Maybe I'll watch the Vonleh year and play "spot the similarities" with this year. I wonder if I could physically stand to watch the PSU game yet. The football games will start being more exciting after this year. Right now watching old football games is all misery outside of this season.     I can't believe the name "John" did not appear in that entire article about his son. Also, that's a great article.

What amazes me most about all of this...   is that I had to look-up the score on my own because everyone here keeps talking about runs and shot percentages but there have been zero score updates the entire stupid thread!

I think it works out to like 43 minutes actually, since we want them to play defense during clock stoppages like in-bounding too.    Though, with this team, I guess it's better to take what you can get.
