  1. Honestly, good for Georgia Tech. They showed up ready to play.
  2. Bryant getting manhandled in the post. Whoever told him to drop weight did him a major disservice.
  3. They're probably just bitter that they're stuck announcing the NIT.
  4. These GT fans are such goobers. Still chanting air ball to James after he's already drilled one 3.
  5. I think we manage to win this game but I wish that we could fast forward to the end. I think this might be even uglier than IPFW.
  6. Zach Randolph can't jump over a sheet of paper and he's had a great NBA career. De'ron just needs to be utilized properly.
  7. Did Green kick coach's puppy or something? His lack of playing time is baffling.
  8. Man Georgia Tech is just beating us up. They're so much more physical.
  9. More Green, less guards not named Green, please.
  10. "I'm the swag guru" - Thomas Bryant
  11. So did they happen to include a mercy rule in the new rules they're trying out?? This is exactly how I worried we would start..
  12. Lol I'm home for spring break and have to watch the game on the old, crappy tv in our basement so I thought that was the problem. It's giving me a headache.
  13. Maybe Glass just really loves plane rides and felt like taking one this week. Moving the game to Atlanta gave him the excuse he needed.
  14. Well for all we know he could be the guy behind the account haha but this is his official one. It's cool that he's still repping us in his picture
  15. It's not him, it's just a parody account.
  16. I wouldn't mind Cujo getting a lot of minutes. I think he lost his confidence during the season and hasn't gotten it back yet. McSwain makes me nervous whenever he dribbles but I think he's gotten a lot better this year. He's a big body that can play d and clean up the glass. I feel like about every other game he gets a putback dunk that energizes the team. I'm just not a fan of 3 guard lineups so I was thinking of what we could do with a more "traditional" lineup. I don't think we'll see it tonight but I can dream lol.
  17. DG/RoJo/Morgan/McSwain/Davis I wonder what a lineup like that would look like. We wouldn't have as much 3 point firepower but we'd have nice size. Get some in/out action going.
  18. Yeah I don't see it happening either but I still think it would be a good idea. Since the NIT doesn't matter it would give the young guys a chance to get some valuable minutes and carry some momentum into the offseason. Cujo, DG, De'ron, McSwain, etc. are all going to be key next year so a road game against an ACC school could really help them. If our main guys don't bring it from the start then I say screw it, let the young guys finish the season out.
  19. It stinks but I don't mind it. I'd like to see Crean give some of JBJ's and TB's minutes to the young guys. I'd like to see De'ron and Green each get around 30 minutes to see what they can do. It's a chance to play a road game against another P5 school, and it sounds like Georgia Tech will have a big crowd so it's a worthwhile experience, imo.
  20. If we're going to bother with the NIT we might as well win it all. Like others have said I think we'll know how this one is going to go within the first few minutes.
  21. I didn't read this closely and just saw two year extension, read the replies, then read this again. Very nicely done haha.
  22. Lol @ Crean using Missouri as leverage for an extension if true. That doesn't work after a season like this one. "Hey Fred I think I'm going to take the Missouri job, you wanna talk about this?" "Nope sounds good, good luck" "Wait what? No! You're supposed to fight for us Fred, not let me walk out :("
  23. If Tucker coming here is enough to save Crean then I would rather him just take his talents elsewhere. He's a good player but not a program changer. I doubt Albers knows what he's talking about though. He was also trying to tell us Wilkes was coming here.
  24. I could see that. I think he was all ready to give Crean his vote of confidence after the season but now he realizes he can't. He doesn't want to fire Crean either so he's stuck in a tough situation and hoping someone else gets him out of it. That's likely why the "soft landing" is so important.
