Someone tell Archie to schedule a series with his brother. Bring the Kentucky series back too. It's time for us to throw out the directional schools and get back into the ring with the big boys.

$4.1 million a year means we're going to have plenty of money left over for recruiting. I'm excited to see what our current players decide to do and who we can add late in the cycle. Hopefully Archie gets on the phone with Justin Smith and gets him to stick with us. I think this move helps convince TB to stick around as well. I was hard on him last year but I think Archie would have him glued to the block like he needs to be. His draft stock would get much higher imo.

That's what I think it means too. Like "okay IU, you've got my attention now. I'm listening."

Purdue fans are acting all smug, "IU confirmed little brother," like they wouldn't trade Painter for Archie in a heartbeat.

Give him the highest recruiting budget in the conference and I think he does A LOT more with it than Crean did. I think he'll recruit the state well and I think a lot of instate kids in these next couple classes that didn't have much interest in us will be changing their mind now. I'm not going as far as saying he's going to "lock up the state" because I don't really think that's possible these days, but I think we'll be very pleased with what he does on the recruiting front.

Honesty I think Glass got the best coach available. We all had our dream home run guys but it's likely none of them were actually available. I've had my fair share of doubts about Fred, but I think he knocked this one out of the park. I'm incredibly pumped right now.

I'm not going to believe any sources until the source is my eyes reading the ESPN notification telling me Donovan is our next coach. I hope we announce our guy by April 1st because I can't imagine all the "sources" we would hear about on April Fool's Day.

Yeah I think so. I just checked out their Twitter and it looks like they're building the new one now. If it's done in time for Billy's visit to Btown Fred can slip him the contract papers while he's sidetracked by a nice banana split.

Not to mention the insane COL. A coach's salary is going to go a lottttt further in Bloomington than DC. I've visited a couple times and I loved the tourist spots, but it's not a place I would want to live.
