I wonder if Glass will give him the million dollar recruiting budget the previous administration had. With his inside-out recruiting style I doubt he'll even need it. -

Archie's going to need a new car soon with all these miles he's racking up. I hope he's bringing Schilling with him. -
Never change Gronk.

I'm so convinced about that one that sometimes I forget some people still believe the official story lol. Even if no conspiracy theories are true they still make life a lot more interesting.

Tv shows/movies have made me suspicious whenever I hear about a high profile person committing "suicide" in prison.
-
I agree. I think the media's portrayal of him as this cold-blooded killer took a big hit when he was acquitted of the other two murders last week. The prosecution would've had a much harder time proving their case this time around imo, and I think Hernandez would've won. The timing of it all is super suspicious to me. The life sentence he got in 2015 wasn't enough to make him kill himself. He sat in prison for two years knowing he wasn't ever getting out. Now they're wanting to say he decided to kill himself a few days after finally getting good news? I'm not buying it. Had he lost the case last week I would understand him killing himself after seeing his daughter and realizing he'd never have a real relationship with her. But he won, and it looked like he had a good shot at getting out of jail one day. I think that if he really did commit suicide there's a strong possibility someone didn't want him getting out of prison and threatened to hurt his daughter if he didn't kill himself.
-
I like a good conspiracy theory so that could be where this is coming from, but I honestly have doubts that he killed himself, or at least that he killed himself on his own volition. He just beat a double murder charge. There was a chance that he could have gotten a new trial for his first conviction and then been aquitted. Why kill yourself at this point? Seeing his daughter could've pushed him over the edge for sure, but why do it before you've exhausted all your chances at getting out? He sat in a jail cell for over three years. Why end it when there was finally light at the end of the tunnel? It doesn't add up to me.

You weren't joking. Goodman pulled no punches and said a lot of the things that we had been saying about Crean the past few years. -

Just checked it out, thanks. Here's the clip. -
The Cavs can't maintain a lead worth a crap.

I just checked out his stats, he averaged 0.7 made 3s per game for his career. I had always thought of him as a three point shooter based on the way people would talk about him and stuff. Crazy. I've never really liked Bird because I think his game was boring, so I'm biased, but that's a take I can get on board with.

If we only have room for one of the two I hope we get Bryant back. I have nothing against JBJ and I would love for him to come back for his senior year, but I think TB is the one that's more likely to buy-in to Archie's system. He seems like a kid that really wants to be coached and I think he was done a disservice last year by whoever decided to turn him into a wing. Plus we would have a lot of frontcourt depth if he came back which is always nice.

We went from not really being on his list, or at least that's how it seemed, to having his dad's college coach/family friend on our staff. Good stuff. It doesn't get much better than that when it comes to building a relationship with a recruit. -
I swear I'm not trying to bring LeBron back up haha but he did it his rookie year at age 18/19.
-
I've been away all evening so I'm just now seeing the news. This is great stuff, I wasn't expecting Moore to stick with us. Archie was able to get three guys he didnt have relationships with to reaffirm their commitments when they could've picked from a number of different schools. He also convinced Collin to come back after he seemed like he was well on his way to moving on with his life. I might be jumping the gun, but I feel really good about Archie being able to recruit at a high enough level to compete for big ten and national championships.

I don't like the whining but until the NBA does something about it there's no reason to stop. If the refs were to stop rewarding players for doing it I think you'd see players stop whining as often.

Draymond kicks dudes every game. He's gonna hurt someone eventually. If I was LeBron or any other superstar really I would sic my team's goon on him to send a message. LeBron can't retaliate or lose his cool because he'll get suspended. No one cares if guy #13 on the bench gets suspended. It's like when the Cavs sent Kendrick Perkins after a Celtics player a couple years ago after they separated Love's shoulder.

Yeah that's true, I should've been more specific. I was meaning more along the lines of the traditional 'back to the basket' big guys that we used to see a lot of in the past. With the way the game has changed with teams shootings more threes and stuff we see that less often. Centers are more likely to go out and play along the perimeter in today's game.

I've never liked Kobe and always thought he was overrated, but I think that was because I liked Shaq and took his side in their beef. Speaking of Shaq, I hate that there aren't really any dominant big guys in the NBA anymore.
