Yeah I've heard of a few schools like that now. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes more common. -

Weren't we right at 13 by keeping all of our recruits, and then Gelon leaving opened up Thompson's scholarship for this year? -

I'm not really sure of the history behind this, but it was entertaining while it lasted lol. -

James Blackmon Jr - KSK Basket (Turkey)

James is working out at Assembly Hall today. Cool to see. -
The Cavs win every starting matchup except pg. They also have the better bench.

Maybe I'm just blinded by my Lebron fandom, but I think Boston got worse this summer and Cleveland got better. IT can actually run an offense with Lebron off the court unlike Kyrie, and now they have depth at the sf position to cut down Lebron's minutes. IT was actually a more efficient scorer than Kyrie last year. Then there's the Brooklyn pick which could be flipped for a disgruntled star (maybe Cousins) later on in the season. Adding Cousins would be a massive help against Golden State, or they keep it and have a shot at Bagley/Porter. Boston lost their two best perimeter defenders in Crowder and Bradley this summer, and they lose IT too. They were this tough, gritty team and now they're not. Kyrie is a phenomenal offensive talent but he plays zero defense. Boston has a mini "Big 3" in Kyrie/Hayward/Horford but none of those guys are a #1 guy on a championship contending team.

He is. He was actually a more efficient scorer than kyrie last year with defenses focusing on him.

Great deal for the Cavs. That draft is going to be loaded. Crowder gives depth at sf and another body to put on KD.

I must be the only one who prefers desktop.. Lol. This new format is growing on me.

(2018) PG Robert Phinisee to Cincinnati

Archie's recruiting better than his brother did his first year at Arizona. I feel really good about the direction we're heading. In a lot of ways Indiana sells itself. We finally have a coach who won't get in his own way. -

I don't blame him for the optimism. After such an awful year like last year we finally have things to look forward to. -

Purdue fans have diminished mental faculties from enhaling the toxic West Lafayette fumes. We should pity them. -
""After working with our team during of the first month of their tenure, our coaches met with each player to discuss their role and each player’s own expectations for the future. Grant was made aware that our staff believed his abilities were not of the caliber that would allow him to receive playing time of any kind in the future for the IU program. He asked for and was granted a release from his scholarship. The staff told him we would assist him in any way possible in finding a program that would allow him to make the type of on-court contribution he was hoping for and expecting, at another institution. He also was advised that his full four-year athletic scholarship would be honored if he chose to remain as a student at IU. Coach Miller believes honesty in evaluating talent, while often difficult, is the appropriate measure to take at all times and in the best interest of each player. We wish Grant the best as he continues to pursue his education and college basketball career."" Ehh... I don't really have a problem with that. Gelon is not a Big 10 caliber player and Archie isn't one to sugarcoat things.

Yeah I think Romeo wants to be the top dog wherever he goes, but he also knows he needs some help. Landing RP shows him even further that he'll have plenty of talent to help him win here. -

I'm no Pap, but now Archie has four top-100ish recruits to sell Romeo with. Romeo would have plenty of talent to play with but he'd still be the unquestioned #1 guy on the team. Thats just my unsolicited opinion lol. -

Watch Purdue fans shift to "he's not even good" to downplay losing another recruit to IU this summer. -

RP is starting to grow on me. Idk if that's because I'm getting antsy at the lack of noise on the recruiting front or because I want him, though. -

So I wonder if this means Ellison is getting the starting job or if I'm reading way too much into it, like usual.
