    I think Lagow lacks the feel for the game that a good quarterback needs. He's a big kid with a big arm, but he lacks the little things that a quarterback needs to know. We desperately need a running game. If we have to rely on Lagow throwing it 60+ times then we're in for a long year. He will inevitably make mistakes when you have him do that.

    Said it right before I did. There was no reason for Westbrook to be out there.

    Westbrook got hurt on the kickoff team though. I totally understand having a guy like Shane Wynn returning kicks/punts to get the ball in his hands to make plays, but we were kicking off when he got hurt. There's no reason to have a talented receiver out there in that situation. Surely there's someone else on the roster that could've filled the role.

    One positive is that Lagow seems to have made strides forward. He still makes some bad decisions but he impressed me for the most part. If we want to go bowling though we need a running game. We can't ask Lagow to sling it 60+ times.

    I hope we see more of the freshman Ellison. I think a big running back would work best against this Ohio State d line.

    Lagow looks really good. Running back though... Not so much. Why can't we just have a complete team for once!

    I've always felt like Wilson is an overrated offensive guy. He frustrated me with his play calling so many times during his time here.

    Hopefully we get a win so you can rub it in your co-worker's face. I'm pretty worried about Lagow too. I think he really makes or breaks things for us. I'm worried that he's going to open the game tonight with a pick 6 or something and zap all the excitement out of the stadium.

    What do you guys think? Personally I won't be happy with playing them close. We've been playing highly ranked schools "close" for a few years now. Im tired of almost. I'm ready to actually get it done and win.

    I really hope that you're right about Lagow this year. We don't need him to be great. We just need him to be average and keep turnovers down.

    They make the cheerleaders wear too much makeup, imo. I've seen a few just out and about and they look much better then than they do during games.
