Didn't watch the 2nd half past the 16:00 mark because I knew we were going to run out of gas. Proud of the effort of the guys who did play. I agree with the benching, we can't have the inmates run the asylum. Honestly I'm glad Woodson isn't afraid to send a message and risk losing a game while doing so. I'd be happy to learn he made them all find their own ride back to Bloomington if they want to go off and do their own thing the night before a game.

How many steps are you allowed to take when you "shuffle" your feet before a shot? I thought for sure they'd call a travel before that last 3.

I agree, otherwise do you know how easy it would be as an offensive player to draw a foul? All you'd need to do is intentionally trip yourself over a defender's foot.

This seems to be another "get over the hump" game if you will in regards to finally getting ranked. We've lost basically every one of these over the last few years. Close enough, but just can't quite get there. That reason alone is why I'm hoping for a win so bad, never mind picking up another win against a ranked team in the B1G.

I can't help but get greedy now after picking up a road win, and handling the #4 team in the country largely without our best player. We could legit win our next 5. Even 3-2 wouldn't be the worst thing since we have a pretty easy home schedule after Wisconsin. Nothing is a given though. Let's kick Michigan's @$$ and be ranked on Monday!

Proud of the team for getting a road win! All you gotta do is win by 1 on the road, I don't care who the opponent is. I'm hoping this gives everyone confidence heading into Purdoo game. If we get past that major test, we could start a nice little B1G win streak.

He'd be a huge addition, but I'd like to see his points per game be higher. Is he just not a focus of his team's offense?

Then why haven't the problems been fixed yet? You said it yourself, 12-4 (against a weak schedule) means we're halfway through the season and our most notorious problems still plague us. Inconsistent PG play, lots of turnovers, and scoring droughts did Archie in, and have been the downfall of this program the last 6 years. I'm rooting for Woodson to fix it, but I'm so jaded by this program over the last 20 years to have much faith it will be. Yeah, the fans have high expectations. That's to be expected at this level, especially at a program that has won it all 5 times. So there really isn't room for excuses. I've begun to accept we're more similar to Nebraska football in that we're trying so hard to find the right combination of players and coaches to replicate major success achieved decades ago, rather than Alabama football righting the ship by hiring Nick Saban.

Agree, but I'd be happy with even a 1 point win at Nebraska. Iowa will be tough to beat at home, I'm not anticipating a win there.

What a win! Great job, super impressed with how our defense stepped up and allowed us to extend the lead we wouldn't relinquish. Love seeing the energy of the guys on the bench tonight too.

Well, if it isn't the grand marshal of the "Mike Woodson is a grand slam hire" parade. Really nailed that one.

I haven't watched any IU basketball since the Marshall game. The apathy set in when we hired Mike Woodson after convincing myself we were going to land Stevens. Shame on me for thinking we were going to finally try and be a big boy in college basketball. For all the Quad 1 vs. Quad 2 talk - who tf cares? Why bother unless you're on the selection committee, and at this rate you can go ahead and plan that spring vacation that overlaps with March Madness since you won't have to worry about missing IU being in the field of 68. 19-13 after the BTT.

Thank God we dodged that bullet of hiring Brad Stevens and got Mike Woodson instead.

I'll be surprised if the NCAA tournament is even held this March.
