Hopefully the excitement of his visit still resonates with him. It's gonna be tough to fight off BU and Villanova with their recent success. They've been unarguably two of the top programs in CBB the last 5 years.

Not buying it. If balls are gonna be slapped around the B1G next season, it will have to be done by someone other than Brad Davison.

Dang, I really thought Williams was 100% done. I'm really hoping we're not forced to watch him take multiple steps every time he catches the ball down low next year. He must have traveled 4 times during the St Peter's game and none were called. He is good though.

Style or makeup of roster doesn't matter when you can't hit shots. That's been our problem for forever. Shooting covers up a lot of other deficiencies.

I didn't want to jinx it, but I was always highly doubtful whenever people predicted this was Purdue's year to win it all potentially. Their roster top to bottom is not as impressive as people thought it was. Just because Trey Kaufman redshirted doesn't mean they were that stacked. There were even some iu fans thinking they'd run the table in conference. Crazy how their best team in a while didn't win any hardware whatsoever.

Good, I honestly want him back a lot more than some guys who are still here. He's got a lot of value, maybe just not as a 35 mpg type of guy. On the list of players I've wanted to succeed here, he's at the top along with Maurice Creek.

I'll be a huge fan of wherever Phinisee goes. I'm hoping he stays healthy for an entire year and tears it up. He always seemed like a great kid, and I hate it for him how many setbacks he suffered during his time here.

Doubt he wants to muck it up in the B1G. He's where he belongs.

They did get a great draw, but I think UNC handles them with how well they've been playing lately. Still, they'll get to another elite 8 which means Butler, ND, and Purdue will get to 2 Elite 8s since we've been to our last one.

Losing Geronimo would suck, plain and simple. Even if it means we get TJD and Race back.

I wonder how much of our defensive improvement was due to Dane Fife. I always figured he was pretty instrumental there, and he had good experience recruiting in this conference. Sad it didn't work out, but more perplexed by it all. Ultimately it seems this is on Dolson. Why hire an assistant before the head coach?

The staff probably already has a good idea of who they expect to lose. Maybe they never expect Duncomb to contribute at this level, and Sparks provides an upgrade there. A lot still needs to happen, so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the idea of adding Sparks even if we keep Race and Trayce. If we lose Durr and Duncomb, we'll need another big body.

Maybe JHS can provide IU with a major assist before he steps on campus, but I anticipate him staying in Florida. FSU or Miami imo.

The only thing that will get the B1G front office to change the way games are officiated is getting humiliated in the tournament. I'm so sick of tackle basketball. Look at how many 5 stars sign with B1G schools every year, compared to the other major conferences. It's not by accident, and also not because our conference refuses to cheat either.

Davison just fouled that IA State player badly, that's what they need to be reviewing.

Purdue is probably gonna end up carrying the conference in the NCAAT this year. Gross.

Not a great look for the conference if both the B1G co-champions don't even make it to the Sweet 16.

Ugh, that would be quite deflating if UL swoops in and steals our assistant coach and top 50 recruit despite being a mess and not even making the tournament.

Met my expectations I set before the start of the year. Got some momentum for next year, but again I'm upset about another offseason looking forward to losing some guys. All in all we're in a batter state than any point during the Archie years.

The troubling thing is I'm not confident we play the right players even if we do have wholesale roster turnover. I've seen too much of Kopp and Stewart to believe we'll see the best players get most of the minutes.

I have a feeling I'll spend most of the 2nd half watching the UK game in hopes I witness a major upset.
