  1. This should be a beatdown considering how we've been playing lately, and their current injuries. That said, I'll be happy with a 1 point win.
  2. Is that a shot at his haircut? Because I agree.
  3. Let's get this win streak to 4 games so it can be 5 after Saturday!
  4. I'm rooting for Duke to fall flat on their face. Scheyer is probably a nice guy and all, but I wouldn't be upset if he led the downslide. He seems so entitled, and has such a "I walk on water" look to him.
  5. I love when Duke loses. That university can die in a fire.
  6. Man, one can hope. He'll be a thorn in our side for the next 4 years if he stays at UW.
  7. The ship seems to have been righted. Our players look like they're believing in themselves, and having fun playing basketball again. Back to .500 in conference, 3 game win streak, let's keep this going and not lay an egg against Minnesota. Lots of winnable games in the near future if we play like we have been lately. Also, I love that this happened with Sisley in the house.
  8. Screamed so loud at TJD's dunk over Hauser that my 6 month old burst into tears in fright. Worth it.
  9. Starting a 3+ game win streak would get everybody believing we're a legit contender again. I think the B1G is all but out of the picture at this point, but that doesn't have to mean we won't be a force in the conference.
  10. I would kill for a script Indiana alternate jersey.
  11. You could legit feel the anger and frustration of UI fans through the TV as the game progressed. It was wonderful.
  12. So happy we've strung together 2 in a row. This team is too talented to not turn this around.
  13. He was already out for the season anyway. He hasn't played since December.
  14. If that was a UW player in Madison, each ref would have called a foul on a different IU player there.
  15. The old timers like to remind us of the years when the Wisconsin game was a guaranteed win on our schedule. Their program was a mess, and something like 15 years went by before we lost a game to Wisconsin. It's harrowing when you realize that's what Wisconsin is doing to this generation of IU fans. They all expect to win when they play Indiana.
  16. It's only fair if Wahl can't go. We gotta catch a break somehow.
  17. Southern Indiana is a pretty fun team to watch. Currently up on Little Rock at home. A win tonight would put them at .500 for the year.
  18. Ever since Zeller left after the 2013 season, it's become a ritual this time of year to eagerly anticipate mass roster turnover. Except for 1 or 2 seasons when Yogi was here. So frustrating. It would be nice to get excited for March because we're getting a high tournament seed, rather than witnessing an exodus of players.
  19. I hear you, ultimately I don't think Woodson is the guy. But just to play devil's advocate we did make the tournament last year for the first time in a while, so it's not like last year was a disaster by any means. We're only halfway through his 2nd season here. What does that say to potential future coaches when they know they'll be fired after their second season, even after going to the tournament the previous year? Plus we do have injuries to deal with this year, we can't escape that fact.
  20. No matter how bad the season gets, a change is not getting made in the basketball program until after next season at the earliest. Any coach needs a minimum of 3 full seasons to prove themselves IMO. If football and basketball continue on the current trajectory, the first to go needs to be Dolson. He can't be the one picking the replacement for Allen or Woodson.
  21. I'm starting to believe that Woodson was a 3-4 year stop gap after Stevens said no, and Oats, Musselman, etc refused to entertain the idea of coaching in this league. Dolson wanted somebody to keep us competitive for a while, in the meantime other coaches would prove themselves for us to consider down the road.
  22. Our basketball and football programs have regressed so much under Dolson. We might be better off in the MAC if this keeps up another few years.
  23. Hindsight is always 20/20 but Fife clearly should have been the hire if we wanted an IU guy due to his age and the fact he's still hungry in his early years of coaching. Woodson was freakin 63 when we hired him. Probably took the job to pad his retirement account.
  24. I swear I just saw Tim Buckley on South Carolina's bench.
