There's not a team in the country I wouldn't give us at least a punchers chance at beating on a neutral court right now. I will say there are teams I hope are on the complete other side of our bracket next month (Arizona, Alabama), but we're hot at the right time. I don't know if I said that even during the Zeller years. Hope this can continue to March.

It won't hurt that the gym will be close to 50% IU fans.

Wonder how much it cost Rutgers just to get him to put them in his top 5. -
I haven't watched a Vanderbilt game in a few years when they were also recruiting Romeo Langford, and I'd tune in to root against them every time they were on TV.

The place just looks like it's under construction and they're doing their best to make it work in the meantime.

Plus, Pikiell has two 5 stars coming in the next 2 classes. Rutgers is probably more willing to play the game than ND is. He's built something worth sticking around for at RU.

I wish they would limit Race to spot duty in oder to give him more time to heal. He's clearly not himself, therefore shouldn't be given more than 8 mpg or so. Reneau is ready.

Seems like a great fit, and not hard to see why. He's from Illinois, Catholic, and spent 10 years coaching Loyola Chicago so he probably would rather be close to home.

Lol don't you remember how hard Coach K came down on Grayson Allen? He was suspended indefinitely, which turned out to be a grand total of 1 game.

We had to win this, and we did. Therefore I'm happy. Not the prettiest, but games against Rutgers never will be.

Just raining 3s on us. Death by a thousand cuts. Hopefully we figure out a way to put pressure on the perimeter and stop leaving guys open in the 2nd half. Feels like we should be up by 10+.

I would be ecstatic with a 6:30 ET start time for all our weekday games. Very conducive for those of us who try going to bed by 9:30.

We gotta beat Rutgers. I'm tired of losing to freakin Rutgers. Protecting home court is so big in February, given that our remaining road games are very difficult.

Agreed. I watch Trey Kaufman and am left wondering what kind of player he's trying to be. I was bummed when we missed out on a top 50 guy from southern Indiana, but I'm definitely not anymore.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but against Rutgers and at NW will be huge for us in the B1G race.

Northwestern getting homered in Madison. I really hope NW pulls this out. I'm sick of UW winning home games like this.

I'm pretty sure the Thompson family has maintained a massive influence over the program even after JT III got fired. An article came out a while back that detailed specifics. It'll be interesting to see what direction they go now that John Thompson Sr has passed.

Forgot about Bates. He'd start for sure. I'm not getting my hopes up on Bidunga no matter how many times he visits. He has seen some pretty darn good games at AH though, maybe he can't help but compare it to UC and see how much better off he'd be here. We'll need at least 1, likely 2 new bigs for next year assuming Duncomb leaves. Hopefully through the portal and high school.
