Iowa does seem like kind of in shambles currently, I may have to adjust my prediction of a 9 point Iowa win Thursday. I'd feel better if we were fully healthy, but with X out and TJD dealing with issues of his own, I'm not sure we can pick up a road win in a tough environment.

I would have liked for him to elaborate on what makes them scumbags. I'm sure he can provide some insight the rest of us don't have access to.

Would be a step towards ruining a great product. I'd have to imagine every team from a power conference over .500 would get a tournament bid if this gets adopted. Forget making the regular season meaningless, it would make the first round of the tournament meaningless. But they've already ruined college football's postseason, so why stop them now?

Pikiell is one of the best coaches in this conference. Imagine if he got some higher ranked players, he could really do some damage.

The gym will be rocking, Iowa needs this game to get back on track, we haven't played for 2 weeks, we're awful on the road, etc. I'm expecting a double digit loss.

I'll never forget his decision to cancel the season then reverse course based on flawed science. It would be such a Bears move to hire such an incompetent leader. Dude is worthless.

We can't lose this kid to Purdue, or really any B1G school.

I've done a complete 180 on Michigan since Howard took over. Normally I never really root for any B1G teams outside of us in the tournament, but couldn't help but root for UM when Beilein was there. I loved his style, he got the most out of his players, and they were fun to watch. Plus Crean would inexplicably beat them more often than not which made it easier. Howard is the complete opposite. UM has good kids I'm sure, outside of that ****** Hunter Dickinson, but Howard is a complete clown. He needs to go.

Foot injuries have a tendency to nag throughout the year without enough time for recovery. At this point, I'm hoping he's good to go for the tournament.

I'm not going to start talking next coaches anytime soon, but when I do Steve Pikiell will probably be on the list. He won't win the press conference, but dude can coach for sure.

The team right now has three 5 stars, a preseason All American/potential National Player of the Year, an experienced PG, loads of experience at most positions, and athleticism that's been lacking in recent years. Talent wise, we're not that far off IMO. If the coaching staff can't put these ingredients together to make a run then I don't think they ever will.

I definitely wouldn't go that far. This team should have no problem finishing top 5 in conference which would be a lock for the tournament. But it's clear we are not a national championship contender, which is what we all wanted before the season started. It's a bitter pill to swallow because it appears this will be our most talented team for the next 2 years or so.

On the cusp of 3 blowout losses in the last 4 games. Still time to turn it around, but that's not a good sign for the B1G season.

I wouldn't say that. Everyone gets a second chance, especially when he/she has a valuable skill that's in high demand. It'll definitely be a while before his comes, and when it does it will probably be New Mexico or some lower tier program. But yeah. Rough.

I've just never been convinced he's that type of player. I love the kid, really good player but he's always been missing an edge to him. He has a nice guy feel to his game.
