  1. In my dream world we get Derik Queen to reclass to 2023, JHS comes back, and Connor Essegian transfers in from Wisconsin. That would be a pretty solid unit with Reneau, Geronimo, and Galloway.
  2. Whenever Boeheim hangs it up, I can't imagine SU will be a very desirable job. Dreadful location, and fish out of water in a conference that only cares about Duke and UNC.
  3. Did you storm the court? Neither did I. And I also couldn't give 2 sh1ts what college students do to celebrate as long as no one gets hurt.
  4. I was so drunk I swear I watched a Mason Gillis commercial. Lol like that would ever happen, could you imagine?
  5. HELL YES! Down goes #1 in front of so many blue chip recruits.
  6. We're daring the refs to call a foul on Edey, but they WILL NOT. We need to come up with a different strategy any minute now.
  7. If we win, someone will have had to step up in a big way. Maybe JHS? TJD? Last year it was Phinisee out of nowehere with 17 first half points, followed by a huge late 3 to seal it. People forget how little TJD played in the game last year due to foul trouble. PU had Edey, Ivey, and Williams, but still lost. I expect to win this game. Close, maybe by 2 points, but I expect us to win.
  8. That's the Archie Effect still taking a toll on us.
  9. It does not take a miracle to win against Purdue.
  10. Really hope we get a big win today for our NCAAT seeding, move up in the B1G, and start this difficult stretch of games on a high note. But mostly because I just freaking hate Purdue.
  11. Also from the release - For all Purdue fans attending Saturday's game, please be sure to wipe all chicken poop off your boots before entering the arena. Thank you.
  12. Can't Edey technically return next year? I'm pretty sure no major contributor graduates after this season. I thought they'd take a huge step back after losing Williams and a lottery pick but apparently the basketball gods hate me.
  13. It's almost 10 years old.
  14. If we don't beat Purdue Saturday, I don't know if they lose again all B1G season. Who would be their toughest opponent, Illinois? Wisconsin?
  15. No one said they aren't dang good. If you're 20-1 you gotta be good, but also lucky. And they have plenty of both.
  16. MSU was without Malik Hall, OSU was without Key and McNeil missed a decent amount of time, Maryland came within 3 at the end. They'll be the least impressive B1G champion in recent memory IMO.
  17. So only 2 B1G schools currently in the Top 25, us and Purdue. Definitely a down year in the conference with UM, UW, OSU, and MSU not being at their usual level. Purdue obviously being the major beneficiary of that. Any other year with their talent they'd be like 15-5 or so.
  18. I honestly don't understand it. I look at their roster and wonder if anyone on their team would even start for us, outside of Edey. His effect is that big.
  19. Yep. A conference title seems pretty much out of reach. We'd have to sweep Purdue, and at some point someone else needs to freakin beat them too. At this point, my hope for IU is just to stack wins while getting healthier. I don't want to head into the BTT needing a win in order to not be sweating it out on Selection Sunday.
  20. We really needed this win since we've got a tough 2 game stretch this week. At Maryland will be challenging, as they are certainly no slouch. Then of course Purdue. 2-0 is definitely not out of the question, but then again neither is 0-2.
  21. Impressive win. I love seeing guys step up, namely Reneau and JHS. Keep racking up those wins, it's about to get tougher.
  22. So is Northwestern making the NCAAT again this year? 15-5, 2nd in B1G currently. If so they should just go ahead and give Collins a lifetime contract.
  23. A struggling but talented team desperately needing a win to save their season scares me, but the Hall will be rocking on a Saturday night.
  24. I'll take a win any way we can get one, especially on the road. Malik Reneau's progress throughout the conference season is very encouraging. He definitely looked lost early on, but something has clicked for him lately. I hope this continues.
