  3. @rickbozich Troy Williams of #IUBB says that he's still "50-50" on staying in the NBA Draft. Said he will decide next week and not wait til deadline. Williams said there were "worse things," than playing in D-League and he could leave even if he's not first-round pick. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  7. If you quote the invisibility Twitter someone posts u can see what it says. That's what I have been doing and then cancel the quote. A little workaround until it gets fixed Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  11. 15 and 5 in the sun belt. I would say It was a good move for him to go to a low major program. Maybe he can have his one shining moment next year if his team gets into the tournament as a 14 seed in a first round game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  12. I would keep him mind they asked a sophomore at an aau event a question that every high major recruit gets asked by the media at every event. That answer might change next week. It's hard to put stock in the answers to these questions when they will change often. Iu had been working the hardest in the Rawle and pinson sweepstakes at various times during their recruitments. Iu also wasn't working the hardest during these recruitments as well according to both. One thing I have learned from following recruiting closely is not to take what some of these kids to the media too seriously Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  13. Agree. he finished 6th in the sunbelt with a 16-14 record with him Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  14. They only listed 5 of 13 players as locks the most interesting thing from that is basically 1 guy picks the team although he gets input from other places and his job his to field a team to beat Kentucky. Basically if the 13 best players in the state were guards all of them wouldn't make it even if they deserved it. They would pick a team that was more balanced. They talked about his shooting at the end. They didn't say he wasn't deserving and shouldn't of made it instead of anyone else so there is that Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  15. http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/high-school/2016/04/14/podcast-kyle-neddenriep-breaks-down-indiana-all-stars/83041052/ Here is a breakdown of who made it and who got left off. Kyle is a good Twitter follow for Indiana high school basketball Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  16. Even if his brother was more deserving he is a junior. I'm sure others might be more deserving but when dealing with all star games and first team selections there will always be a case for the some people who do not get selected. In the past people have said that if it was a close call in the mr basketball race it would go to the kid who attended iu( although this wasn't the case with yogi when Gary Harris won it) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  17. @jeffrabjohns Indiana signee @ChefBoyArGreen is playing in the Jordan Brand Regional game, 5:30, Brooklyn, WatchESPN app According to this you can watch Devonte on the watchespn app Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  18. I don't blame him the board of regents only approved his contract in a 9-4 vote You would think you would want an unanimous vote. I wouldn't feel to secure going in to that job. Also he was an assistant at tech for 10 years and has 3 daughters that are closer to Lubbock. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  20. Yes I would of been. Some things are passed down generation to generation in families and being an IU basketball fan is one of them in my family. regardless of how good or bad iu is in any giving season is irrelevant in my passion for the iu basketball program Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  21. i don't mind taking a flier on a kid when our guard depth seems to be solid barring injuries. Some coaches recruit on instinct why limit that. If it works out you look like a great talent finder if not only people on message boards will remember you recruited a dud. I know most programs do not even use all of their 13 schollys for the year Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  22. Or take a flier on a kid that can shot lights out like a Forbes and hope he develops into what Forbes turned into after his 4 or 5 years in college. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  23. http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/bryn-forbes Just remember Forbes was a 2 star and unranked coming into college Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  25. I just gave an one example I'm sure snow has watched him more then once. For me from what I have seen of him live he wasn't as good as Hartman was his senior year when I watched him live. No denying his stroke. His form on his shot is text book but from the games I watched it just wasn't his night. He wasn't getting doubled or tripled he just had a bad game. Having said all of this I'm excited to see how he turns out once he gets some more strength because he has good size Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
