Uspshoosier

Doubt it’s genuine positivity from him. I haven’t followed him since he had a local radio show but his move normally was pump them up before the season started and then trash them when they feel short of his inflated expectations of them. It was like clockwork. I’m sure he is doing the same thing nowadays as well

He was hurt and wasn’t dressed at the scrimmage

Last year in an exhibition game Cincy beat Michigan. Michigan ended up winning the national championship and Cincy fired their coach. Be careful taking anything away from an exhibition game in October.

IU will start the year 47th in KenPom

Rumor mill is IU was confident after his visit and that they thought they were the team to beat in this recruitment and he almost committed on the visit. Even when he went on the other 2 visits they still felt like they were the team to beat. Also IU has the biggest offer as well

Great job by the staff and DeVries. DeVries in his 2nd full recruiting cycle may have done something that hasn’t been done at IU in a long time if ever. 2 potential McDonalds all Americans in the same class. After Hill went to Purdue some might have been down on DeVries for not getting the in state kid however he pulls an out of state top 12 recruit that chose IU over 2 programs that were in the Final 4 last year. Heck of a start. Now like every year for the since forever the on the court results need to follow

I’m disappointed I haven’t gotten around to watching it yet. On demand on espn + for anyone interested in watching. Been crazy busy with my kids sports schedule to have anytime to watch it yet

Probably was the only chance to have a shot at the Wabbington recruitment. He doesn’t want to play the 5 and by taking him they can tell him he doesn’t need to play the 5. Same thing Zona is going by having a high level 5 in for a visit before his. Not sure why anyone would be optimistic about an Arizona kid picking IU over Arizona in the first place but that’s just my opinion

Mitchell’s time at Kentucky

Mitchell is back to Missouri instead or going to Kentucky

Is there is a list of teams that have taken 14 so far?

Technically yes but you won’t see many schools use the full 15 allowed now. Revenue sharing is set for 13 so adding anymore then that would mess with that. Who knows anymore but I would be surprised if IU ever used more then 13 scholarships in a year

Watching basketball in July was fun even if the competition wasn’t the greatest. Better than no basketball in July in my opinion.

Refs just called 3 more fouls on IU at halftime

If you want to get a kick out of some comments in the Spanish go to the live feed right now. They are showing handball on that channel and people are asking where the basketball game is. lol. Games started at 2 today. I’m imagining at 6 IU fans tuning in and they are showing field hockey. lol. It said 122 were watching. Curious to see what that number is when IU(USA) play

Yeah. Same with the exhibition game that was played at Assembly Hall. Lanes were wider at that as well

Feels like one of those random Tuesday nights in college basketball that’s drunk. This match is drunk. Awesome game so far
