Doubt I watch another IU/Northwestern game until they can show they can actually beat them. Not worth it to watch them lose to northwestern again and again and again. If I don’t watch then it doesn’t happen

They did beat the crappy teams in the conference on the road. Unbalanced schedules made it to where they didn’t get to play the other B1G teams over 100 in the NET on the road. Ius crappy teams they lost to happen to be borderline Q1 games and were high end Q2b games where better teams then IU lost. Now if they would of lost at Oregon or at Penn St I would agree with you

San Diego st is my first team out so if VCU loses they might sneak in. Who knows with the committee. I didn’t think there was anyway West Virginia would get left out but they did. Always 1 team the committee adds just to add to throw us off. lol

South Florida/Wichita winner will probably be in the same spot on the seed list

Auburn would be doing something that no team has done to get in. Only 1 game over .500 and 16 losses. I don’t see them setting a precedent of including a team like that

Committee definitely needs a contingency bracket today. VCU is right on the cut line. If they win they will get the auto bid and can’t play in Dayton so if they were in the last 4 in then they will have to move a team down into the First 4. Should have done it this year. Giving them 2 home games to IUs 1 home game just to get it back on the schedule tells you all you need to know as to where both teams are at. IU gains nothing with these games until they are actually in a better spot. Did Cig duck Cincy or did Cig do what was best for his program at the current time? IU schedules better in the non con this year and they are probably in the tourney.

In Byington first year at Vandy they were 20-12(8-10) 3-7 on the road. 5-9 in Q1 4-3 in Q2 sos- 27 non con-330 scheduled non con games against non tourney teams that produced them Q2 wins Margin of error for teams that just make it compared to the ones that just miss is small. Byington had done a fantastic job at Vandy and it looks like in year 2 he built on what he did in year 1 and has it rolling now.

No they are not but they just need to build a roster that can produce a winning conference record first and then go from there. Maybe buyout the non con game against Kentucky and actually schedule teams closer to where IU is at right now. Enter smaller MTE events that are not the marquee ones during feast week against teams that can actually help their resume for March instead of getting embarrassed in the non con by the brand names. Produce a winning conference record and make the tourney and then IU fans can worry about getting to the second weekend of the tourney for the first time in 10 years.
