  1. Since they are quick recruitments the reasoning is get them on campus as fast as possible and make your pitch. Personally I still don’t think it matters one way or the other but many do. Houston got the first crack at Burton and offered him a bag but he chose to see what both schools had to offer. Houston didn’t wait around and went to their next target but they wanted him to commit before he went to IU
  2. Would give Sadlers camp a reason to decomitt and chase some bigger money. He has definitely earned that right with his play of late
  3. In portal land everyone says it’s better to have the first visit. If MSU would of gotten the first visit most would of viewed that as a bad thing
  4. Texas is rolling. Punch to Texas
  5. Just get them on campus I guess. Insiders at first said only going because of same agent. Huge pull for them
  6. Staff would’ve familiar with him since he played against IU early in the year
  7. If I told you 3 years ago Deshaun Harris-Smith is 213th ranked transfer portal prospect today would you of believed me
  8. Maybe it’s more than just hiring the right coach that is holding back IU from getting back to where they want to be. Easy excuse is to blame it all on coaching and nothing else. This program is broken
  9. Yes the team that won the national championship added a piece quickly and was able to keep their pg that won MOP of the final game and IU who finished 10th and who has only had 4 winning conference records in 18 years is struggling to get any traction with top level kids
  10. Do I need to break out the old disclaimer posts from the coachIng search days?
  11. Don’t lose to Northwestern 7 times in a row first. Maybe fields roster that can produce a winning conference record
  12. How was Michigans 10 + years before that tanked season? Howard being the train wreck he was still coached Michigan in an elite 8 game. Michigan was in far better shape than IU was. I’m not convinced May picks IU over Michigan if he had the choice between the 2
  13. We don’t have to agree on it. You have hope and are willing to ignore the past 20+ on courts results. Couple years ago I stopped ignoring on courts results. IU isn’t a thing in college basketball anymore until they prove it on the court. Until then they are just another program regardless of how much they spend
  14. It’s not. IU basketball isn’t a thing anymore. Is this the year some of you realize it and treat them like the mediocre program they are or just going to still hold out hope and think they are relevant in college basketball? I hear the football program is rolling though.
  15. Since most hated the roster construction anyway probably a good thing they are not returning. Ironically at the end of the year the 1 kid most thought would be gone is the only one to stay. Major props to Sisley for sticking is out
