That's why I was confused when x said he liked UAB. His past posting history suggests he wants teams to challenge themselves with a hard schedule and less +200 games. And in their 25-6 regular season against division 1 teams, they had 3 opportunities against power 5 teams(2 on a neutral court)( lost to Illinois who finished 12th in the big), lost to Virginia tech who finished 7th in acc) and lost at auburn(13th in sec) in a heartbreaker. I agree on Monmouth they actually scheduled and beat teams from power 5 conferences on the road and neutral. UAB is a different story. 25-6 against division 1 (18-3 against rpi +150) (3-1 against top 100, 4-2 against rpi 101-150), sos 296. I guess their best win was at middle Tennessee (15 seed). I am surprised to hear u say u liked a mediocre team like UAB knowing how much u dislike mediocrity by your past posting history. I never said "tradition". I'm going to go out on a limb here and say a recruit hasn't chosen a school based on how a jersey looks. One would hope they will choose a destination based on the best basketball decision and not on how w jersey looks.
