  6. [attachment=3094:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1450587197.901315.jpg] Like seeing this kind of excitement on the sideline.
  7. I agree, never really liked his offensive game much when he was a Hoosier though either. I think he had a stretch where he shot really well. I think of Remy as more of a lock down defender that would do whatever his team needs him to do to win. Wish the current team could buy into that concept.

  13. Mine says picks closed at 8:00am.
  14. Best remedy for a Hoosier loss is pUKe losing too.
  15. "On Wednesday night, the Hoosiers went into Cameron Indoor Stadium — a place where Duke hasn’t lost a non-conference home game since Feb. 26, 2000 — and shot 50.7 percent from the floor, hitting 7-for-17 from beyond the arc while turning the ball over just nine times. They finished the night scoring 1.19 points-per-possession (PPP). On the road. Against the No. 7 team in the country." Reading the first part of this article is very frustrating. These numbers are good enough for most teams to win, even at Duke. Then you see the rest of the story. Our defense gave up something like 1.55 ppp, historically one of the worst of all time for major college basketball. The defense was so bad that Coach K had no explanation for how well Duke's offense played other than to say they just scored. With a little pride and passion, this article could have ended on a positive Hoosier note just like it started. Hypothetically, the Hoosiers were able to come up with enough defensive stops down the stretch to take down the reigning King of College Basketball. Duke and the Cameron Crazies started a new non-conference streak, 1 loss.
  16. Watch coaches of good defensive teams. Izzo, Pitino, Coach K, and Boeheim etc. It doesn't matter if they are down by 20 or up by 40. They are relentless and passionate about getting a stop every possession. This rubs off on the players. We do not have this. The talent to play D is there but someone has to light the fuse.
