(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
IUsafety replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Langford 32 pts 10 reb 6 blk for New Albany in a win over BNL, 97-57. -
With the emphasis the NCAA, both football and basketball, and the NFL have put on shots to the head, I can't believe ESPN would try to water this down to a shoving match. Concussions can be a serious consequence that leave lasting damage that we still yet do not understand. I applaud Maryland for stepping up and doing the right thing even though it may have cost them a chance at an outright regular season B1G title. Shame on ESPN for trying to belittle the possible severity of this outburst.

[attachment=3452:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1455927985.472228.jpg] My son is not too happy about Pitino being at the New Albany game tonight. -
IMO, fixing grades is worse and it's not even close. For an academic establishment to fix grades can discredit everyone who graduates from that school, student and athletes alike. A student goes to school to get educated. They were not being educated, which means their degree is worthless. Paying for prostitutes may be against the law and a biblical wrong but we are taught from an early age that sex sells. A lot of sex goes on in college, the wrong here is that Louisville may have set it up and paid for it. Naked girls and sex were going to happen any way and every students college degree is not discredited by paying for sex. That being said, they both deserve to be punished. You do the crime, you do the time.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/7220378/terrence-jones-stacey-poole-jr-kentucky-wildcats-escape-accident-minor-injuries Here is how pUKe handles a situation. I remember watching the news when this story first broke. Terrence Jones was driving drunk and left the scene of an accident. It turned into this press release from Calipari stating that no laws or rules were broken. His players were at a club drinking bottled water and borrowing a roommates Escalade.

Really good kid. Yes Sir, no sir kind of kid that always seems to say the right thing. Seems to be focused on his schoolwork and excels in the classroom. Role model type of student athlete. -
This guy looks like a genius.

Yep, been hearing the same thing. Also have heard that UofL and the other school from within that state would be the early favorite along with Duke. Still a long way from deciding and he wants to go through the recruiting process thoroughly. -
None, caught and released. Didn't think I would need a camera, my phone or scales. It's better this way. That fish may be an eight or nine pounder by the next time I tell this story.

Was fishing out of a Jon boat in a pond last week in Kentucky. It was a slow day but caught a 23" large mouth. Guess it was over seven pounds. Never caught one that big in winter before. Thought I was hung up and all of the sudden it moved.

They don't stand a chance against MSB.
