Women show no mercy with a 14-1 run-shortened game. Troutt, Mannon & Hooks combined to limit Valpo to 3 hits and didn't walk any batters. Hoosiers pounded out 14 hits that included 4 doubles, 3 triples and 4 HR. Avery Parker increased her career HR record with 2 HR and 5 RBI. Texas Tech transfer forward LeJuan Watts has committed to Washington, he announced. The 6’6” junior forward started 28/33 games played for the Red Raiders, averaging 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. Watts began his college career at Eastern Washington, and also played at Washington State.

In a pitching duel (NOT), Hoosiers win 20-10. 5 Hoosier pitchers allowed 14 Ball State hits, 6 for extra bases. Surprisingly, we issued just 2 BB in the game. I so badly wanted Jakai to find success in the college game but it didn't happen at GA State. He averaged 17 min/gm and played 20+ in just 2 games both early in the season. 7.1 ppg on 33% FG, 26% on 3s, 82% FT 21 TOs vs 18 assists.

As is typical for girls this young, there's just not much out there about her basketball background. She currently attends Brownsburg East Middle School in Brownsburg.
