  1. Oregon State AD Scott Barnes met with men's basketball coach Wayne Tinkle today and has agreed to part ways with the coach after the season. OSU has offered Tinkle the option to finish the season. He has not decided.
  2. The 2026 Chipotle Boys and Girls National Championships will be held at Hamilton Southeastern HS in Fishers, IN, April 1-4. Participating teams have not yet been announced but here's a link to the event and tickets can be purchased online. https://chipotlenationals.com/#girls-brackets
  3. Words simply can't describe my heartfelt gratitude to the NCAA in making a crucial and critical change in the on field appearance of college football players. Losing its a$$ in court almost every day you'd think the NCAA might have bigger issues to worry about. The NCAA will mandate that players must cover up their skin from the waist down, similar to the NFL rules. This will come into effect immediately for the 2026 season

  5. From what I read this morning, had Penn State had the courtesy to lose to USC last night, we would have clinched a spot in the B1G tournament. But no, PSU (11-17) (4-13) had to win last night so this game is likely win or go home for IUWBB. PSU averages 75 ppg with a -7 margin shooting 47% FG and 35% on 3s. They average 37 rpg basically equal to their opponents. They are as careless with the ball as we tend to be with 18 turnovers/game. PSU has 2 main offensive weapons in Kiyomi McMiller at 22.3 ppg and Gracie Merkle at 19.1 ppg. On volume, McMiller is their second best 3-point shooter at 36%. Moriah Murray is their best 3-point shooter at 40%. Merkle leads the team in rebounds at 8.1 per game followed by McMiller at 5.1. Penn St. is really a 2-headed monster that we have to deal with. Oftentimes this season we've been our own worst enemy. Would really be a wonderful way to end the regular season at home with a nice stress free win. Radio Live Stats

  11. DDV gets another year at a minimum if for no other reason than the the 3 freshman commitments and Ryan Carr's hiring. Coach Cig is part of Dolson's legacy and so is DDV but if the DDV hire proves to be a disaster, that is how Dolson will be remembered.
  12. Mathematically we may still have a chance but the team we're putting on the court doesn't have a chance.
