  1. Northwestern's Alex Olah out indefinitely with a stress fracture.  We play them at home on 1/23.   http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2015/12/27/stress-fracture-in-foot-sidelines-northwesterns-olah-indefinitely/
  2. I think it's time for a DIVINE ending to this game!   Or not!
  3. Interesting article in the Indpls Star written by Tim Sullivan of the Louisville Courier-Journal about Al Hmiel a former assistant coach at the U of Cincy back in the 1970's, and what role he played in recruiting for Cincy.  Lot of the people he references are now deceased and the simple passage of time makes it nearly impossible to verify what he alleges, but it is quite an entertaining article nonetheless. http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/2015/12/25/confessions-college-hoops-slimeball/77911644/
  4. Your optimism reminds me of this Christmas story.  The only thing little Hova wanted for Christmas was a pony.  Every letter he wrote to S. Claus and every Santa he saw that's the only thing he wanted.  Come Christmas morning all he found was a pile of horse manure under his Christmas tree which he immediately began to dig into flinging pieces left and right.  When asked what he was doing, little Hova replied, "With all this horse sh**t, there must be a pony underneath somewhere."
  5. Merry Christmas to everyone.  If you're traveling over the holiday weekend, stay safe.
  6. Guess they don't know that Santa is still taking names for his naughty list.
  7. See what happens.  We become a football school with a bowl game and suddenly everybody's a fan!   I am kidding.  Glad to have you with us and hope you enjoy the group.
  8. Ain't it great to be a football school!  Go Hoosiers!
  9. For those of you who will be in attendance, the current weather forecast is for temps in the low 50's, wind from the NE at 7 mph; and 70% chance of showers.  Dress appropriately or inappropriately depending upon how much you have to drink!  :cheese:
  10. Where there's smoke there's usually a fire of some magnitude.
  11. Winners Runners up of the Pinstripe Bowl  84   Hucksters    72
  12. Winners Runners up of the Pinstripe Bowl    75   Rugrats   68
  13. I don't know.  This was the first actual game I've seen him play and I don't think there was much defense being played by either team.
  14. Final score  93 - 85   Oak Hill defeats Huntington Prep.  CuJo with 27 points.
  15. Interesting developments among 2 of the 5 remaining unbeatens.  Sparty is down at Oakland  40 - 32 with under 4 min. left in the 1st half.  Xavier getting trounced by Wake Forest 36 - 18 with 3 min. left in the half.
  16. Later tonight and tomorrow morning people will see the score and have no clue that we allowed Kennesaw to hang around well into the 2nd half.
  17. Offensively, Owls entered ranked 333rd in the country averaging 87.8 points per 100 possessions. Tonight, scoring 129.2 per 100 trips thanks to our matador defense.
  18. Oh, and Martin, IU leads 59 - 49 with 12 minutes left.
  19. This is simply hard to fathom that we're allowing this team to hang around.  Clearly Kennesaw has no respect or fear at playing in our gym.  This was supposed to be a game to build on following our win over ND in preparation for B1G.  If it is, then our first two road games at Nebraska and Rutgers could be even uglier.
  20. Huntington Prep vs. Oak Hill in the Chick-Fil-A Classic stream available at:  http://www.thesuvtv.com/chick-fil-aclassic Near the end of the 1st half, Oak Hill up 33 - 28.   Great ball game going on.  Tied at 76 with 1:30 remaining.   I apologize but I have no idea how much time is left.  The clock on the screen keeps jumping around and now says there's over 3 min left.
  21. Arkansas Little Rock lost earlier today and we're down to 5 unbeaten teams:  Sparty, Oklahoma, Xavier, SMU and South Carolina.
