  1. For this past season he averaged 16.6 ppg and 8.3 rbg. MaxPreps lists him at 6'7" and 200 lbs. His game by game stats for the 2015-2016 season at: http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/justin-smith/UhLlzpQJEeOzMAAmVebBJg/gendersport/basketball-stats.htm#year=15-16
  2. MaxPreps lists him at 6'5" and 170 lbs. For the 2015-2016 season he averaged 15.7 ppg; 10.5 reb/game; 2.3 blks/game. 40 lbs. difference!! LOL
  3. Wonder if Rawle Alkins expected Trier to leave.
  4. Wasn't he a problem child while at PUke or am I thinking of a different player? And then he ends up with a problem coach in Kelvin Sampson!
  5. Helps that Stephen Zimmerman from UNLV declared and is hiring an agent. More big man competition in the draft although I'll admit that I have no idea how the NBA would compare the 2 players. Also Diamond Stone appears headed to the draft so again, how does the NBA compare Bryant / Zimmerman / Stone plus any other big men who may be available?
  6. UNLV's needs bodies with the exodus they're experiencing.
  7. Dodgers. Followed them from Brooklyn to LA, but the Cubs are a close second.
  8. Never crossed my mind that you were.
  9. Not a lot of names on the list that are overwhelmingly recognizable but when De'Ron's career at IU is finished, hopefully his name will be just as recognizable as Chauncey's.
  10. I much prefer bowing out as we did vs. becoming fodder for bar bets or a future Jeopardy show -- The category is: NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT. The answer is: This team got their ass kicked by a record 44 points in the 2016 Final Four. The question is: Who is IU? No thank you. Much prefer it's Who is OU? Thank you Alex.
  11. I'll take ours vs. being utterly embarrassed in every conceivable way. What do you tell a recruit who just witnessed a 45 point loss in a Final Four game?
  12. We may have had our ass kicked by Duke this season, but at least we walked out of the gym with our manhood intact. I think OK got neutered tonight.
  13. Largest margin of victory in a Final Four or NC game is 34: MSU 101, Penn 67 in 1979. We could be watching history. LOL
  14. Wonder if there's a Fire Lon Kruger site up and running on the Sooner boards? This is a first class a$$ whuppin.
  15. Announcers are scrambling for notes on how to make it sound interesting for the next 11+ minutes of what's become a blowout.
  16. Wouldn't expect it to drag that long. Anyone looking for a new home can't wait too long or openings at their preferred destination(s) will get filled with other commits. I believe most coaches prefer to have their roster solidified by the end of the current semester to better plan summer workouts. By this time, CTC and staff have surely had their individual close out meetings with the underclassmen and if they're open and honest, which I'm certain they are, every member of the team knows where they stand going into next season in terms of what they need to work on in the off-season and what they can expect in terms of playing time.
  17. He's off to an awesome start in his pro career and hopefully it will be a very long career.
  18. The Tennesseean reporting that King Rice, Monmouth head coach and former Vandy assistant under Stallings, and Bryce Drew are the leading candidates for the Vanderbilt head job. Jeff Capel's name also mentioned in the article. http://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/college/vanderbilt/2016/04/01/vanderbilt--monmouth-king-rice-valpairso-bryce-drew/82540784/
  19. Troy is an enigma, a conundrum, a paradox, a quandary, a mystery, etc. ad nauseum. He is who he is and a senior Troy won't be any different than a freshman, sophomore or junior Troy. He's just like the stock market with his highs and his lows. There just doesn't seem to be a Mr. Average with Troy. If he stays, just expect more of the same next season.
  20. I don't know that I'd go quite as far as to say the NCAA is "terribly corrupt" but I certainly agree that the overwhelming odds are that the penalty won't fit the crime for the TurdHeels. The academic fraud they committed for years is truly hard to fathom and if ever a school deserved a near death penalty it's them.
  21. Maybe in high school but at the D1 level; I don't think so.
  22. LOL Max Bielfeldt ‏@MaxBielfeldt You're welcome Spike
  23. Nice article from the South Bend Tribune on sophomore Damezi Anderson who has scored 903 pts. in his first 2 seasons of high school ball. http://www.southbendtribune.com/sports/high_school/basketball/riley-s-anderson-poised-to-take-next-step/article_bbb19a43-60ee-513a-b429-e8956fa4388f.html
  24. PUke., the Franimal, Little Ricky and Groce's Grunts all need warm bodies if he wants to stay in the B1G.
