  1. Providence has landed Indian Hills CC soph Emmitt Holt per his coach Hank Plona.
  2. Sacramento plans to interview Los Angeles Clippers assistant Mike Woodson for head coach.
  3. Take your cursor and highlight the full link. Right click and click on Open Link in New Tab. That should do it.
  4. My expectation is that if he doesn't commit to us before he leaves Bloomington, he's not coming back unless it's on the visitor's bench.
  5. As much as I tried to follow Langford this past season, I've completely lost track of whether or not we've actually extended him an offer. Surely we have haven't we?
  6. His numbers last season were very consistent and I think he'll be getting a lot more interest over the summer.
  7. Where he ends up is immaterial to me, but you gotta love this cartoon and the caption. That moment you realize Tom Crean may take another one of your players.
  8. Absolutely agree. I posted an article in 2016 April Recruiting Period that highlighted Indiana kids to watch. Phinisee is one of those kids: " "At the 2018 level, Robert Phinisee led his Indiana Elite team to a title down at the Adidas Uprising event in Dallas. Phinisee led Indiana Elite in points, rebounds, AND assists, highlighted by a 24 point performance in a 61-52 win over Upward Stars AAU in the semis." Not many players will be their team's stat leader in all 3 categories. I've watched him play several games and his game is always under control. He never gets flustered and you never see him negatively react to calls that go against him. Can shoot from outside and can also take it to the basket.
  9. CBS Sports came out with it's ranking of underclassmen who have declared for the draft. Troy came in at #34. Scouting Profile: Williams is certainly one of the better athletes in this draft, as he possesses both terrific explosiveness and quickness. He also did a bit better of a job as a decision maker this season, even if he still has a tendency to get out of control. There are some issues though. He's still a 6-7 kid with relatively short arms who isn't a major plus defensively yet. But the true swing skill will be the jump shot. Can Williams build on the groundwork for his jumper thus far, or will it fall apart when trying to move back to the NBA line? Tough to say. He'll have a shot to go in the second round if he stays in the draft. Hiring Agent? Not yet Draft range: Second round to undrafted
  10. With the coaching shake-up that took place earlier at St. Louis, has anyone heard what Calbert Cheaney is doing?
  11. Alabama Challenge F Trendon Watford (@Trendon_2): 20 PTS, 6 REB vs Spiece Indy Heat in 30 min. of action. He was 5 of 11 from the field and only 8 of 15 from the charity stripe (ouch). Also had 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blk. Spiece beat Alabama 77 - 68. Jaren Jackson (Park Tudor) playing only 24 minutes on the Spiece team had himself quite a ballgame with 35 pts. on 10 of 13 from the field; 6 of 8 on 3's and 9 of 10 from the foul line. He also had 9 reb., and 3 blks.
  12. Although Damezi Anderson put 18 points on the scoreboard, Indy Hoosiers fell to DC Premier 67-60. UA Indy Hoosiers ‏@Indyhoosiersbba 8m8 minutes ago Damezi Anderson tops in all scoring categories including #1 in 3 Pts Made & top 10 in rebounds. http://www.theuaassociation.com/page/show/1734406-16u-league-leaders …
  13. Southern Stampede G Aljami Durham (@aldurham01): 10 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST in a 66 - 62 win over Houston Hoops. Played 30 min.; again shot poorly only 4 of 13 from the field and 1 of 3 on 3's; 6 reb.; 4 assists; 5 TO's.
  14. Devin Davis, formerly of Indiana, has committed to Houston and Kelvin Sampson. [Ain't that a kick in the teeth? Going with Scumbag Sampson]
  15. EG10 loses to Game Elite, 72-66. Romeo Langford 21 points, 9 rebs. DeVon Cooper 25.
  16. AAU Circuit: Al Durham's Southern Stampede over King James (OH) 68 - 67. Durham played 30 min.; 19 pts. on a not-so-spectacular shooting % but he was 7 of 8 from the foul line. Also had 6 reb., 1 ass't. and 3 TO's.
  17. AAU Circuit: Damezi Anderson bounced back from a poor shooting game last night to have 20 points (7-10), 11 rebounds in a win vs. Team Charlotte today.
  18. Thanks Wayne. Really people, if it was our 2 posts that put some people's panties in a knot, you really need to lighten up. I truly feel he's going to be a very solid contributor.
  19. Derby Classic final: White 144, Maroon 132. Mustapha Heron 32 points for White. Eron Gordon 29, Curtis Jones 25 for Maroon.
  20. Jeff Rabjohns ‏@JeffRabjohns Curtis Jones has it rolling. 21 of his team's 77 points. Showed his hops throwing down alley oop off backboard from CJ Walker. NOTE: He was not a starter in this game.
  21. Is it too late to whiteout his signature on his LOI?
  22. End of the first half in the Derby Classic and per a Rabjohns tweet: "Curtis Jones with a really nice first half. Team-high 16 points for Maroon squad. Finished with a Eurostep from the right wing."
  23. We don't have a basketball team, we have a M*A*S*H unit.
  24. Chris Beard named head coach at UNLV about a week ago and apparently has already jumped ship for Tubby Smith's vacant position at Texas Tech. If true, the UNLV program must be a total cesspool.
