  1. Isn't that sorta what was said last year about Bryant, OG and Juwann - at least about the latter 2? Not super duper; just good. All 3 looked awfully damn good to me this past season.

  6. Not a typical CTC coaching maneuver but certainly a possibility.
  7. Saw this today but have no idea where the game was played and don't recognize very many of the players. Gelon is the first stat line.
  8. Albers claiming multiple sources telling him Troy is staying in the draft.
  9. And so the drama begins. Who will go to free up a scholly? OOPS, interrupting this post - IU has scored 2 in the top of the 11th and lead MSU 6 - 4.

  11. Final game in Indy, St. Louis Eagles defeated Boston Amateur 76 - 51. Darius Garland with 21 pts. on 8 of 15 from the field; 4 of 7 on 3's; 2 reb.; 2 assists. Jordan Goodwin with 20 pts. on 9 of 19 from the field; 14 reb.; 4 assists.
  12. Final game in Indy, Durham's Southern Stampede defeated All Can Go 88 - 71. Durham 10 pts.; 6 reb.; 7 assists. Shooting % not posted.
  13. Through 7 games in the 2016 Gauntlet Series Langford is averaging 23.6 ppg; 8.9 reb/game. He's shooting 60% from the floor; 31% on 3's and 76% on FT's.
  14. Last game of the weekend for Watford and his Alabama Challenge team defeated LV Prospects 68 - 75. He scored 18 pts; 6 FG's and 3-3's. 6 reb., 2 assists; 2 blks.; -0- TO's.
  15. We can't kid ourselves that the situation Pap described hasn't been going on for many years across the spectrum of NCAA schools. It's so damn unfortunate that "Creaning" has seemingly become the universal word for that process. If it's truly the kid's choice to leave for an opportunity elsewhere then I'm OK. And every coach should be very honest and candid with their players at the end of the season on what it looks like for them next year in terms of playing time and opportunity. But if it's a blatant kick out the door after the kid was actively recruited by the coaching staff then I feel quite differently especially the longer the kid has been a member of the team. If the staff recognizes it made a mistake with a kid during his first year, then make the move after year 1.
  16. Watford and his Alabama Challenge lose to Oakland Soldiers 77 - 73. Watford with 14 pts. on 6 of 15 from the field; 1 of 3 on 3's; 10 reb.; 3 assists; 4 TO's.
  17. Durham's Southern Stampede team beaten by CIA Bounce 100 - 76. Durham with 29 pts.; 4 assists; 3 reb.; 2 TO's; 1 steal. He was 7 of 13 from the field; 3 of 6 on 3's and 12 of 18 on free throws. I assume he was very actively attacking the basket to get to the line that many times. Also of note, this was the second consecutive game in which he fouled out.
  18. Romeo Langford at Adidas Gauntlet in Atlanta had 21 points as EG10 notched a big 56-54 win over Team Fast.
  19. Watford 17 pts. on 6 of 16 from the floor; 3 of 9 on 3's; 4 reb.; 4 TO's as Alabama Challenge lose to New York Lightning 69 - 66.
  20. Shooting woes continue for Al. Only 2 of 13 from the field; 0 for 5 on 3's; scored a total of 5 pts. in 78 - 67 loss to Team CP3. Also had 2 assists and 2 TO's. Must have been an unusually officiated game as Al and 2 of his teammates fouled out as did 1 on CP3.
  21. Romeo Langford - 23 points (8-13FG), 9 rebounds, 4 assists in a win for EG10 over New Orleans Elite.
  22. Watford with 21 on 6 of 12 from the field; 5 of 7 on 3's; 5 reb.; 2 assists; only 1 TO in a 83 - 67 loss to MoKan Elite
  23. From Jeremy Price: There's more to like with Al Durham than the stat line would suggest. Finished with 12 points on 4-17 FGs and 4-5 FTs in 94-71 loss. To elaborate, Durham has good form on FTs/in warmups, just needs work on footwork/preparation in games. Loads of defensive potential. http://scoop.hoosiershq.com/2016/04/durham-waiting-for-shots-to-fall-on-eybl-circuit-iubb/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  24. IMO odds pretty long with Tyra only a junior and Iowa needs help at PG after Jennings' transfer out.
