The Celtics could end up with Romeo Langford because of this trade. If the Lakers record yields a pick between #2 and #5 next year, the Celtics get it. If not, they get the kings' pick in 2019. That could be Romeo. Thomas, Romeo and Jackson, coached by Brad Stevens. Would be something.

As does the Eastern Washington loss. At least EWU made the tournament that year (correct me if I'm wrong).

This class might not have the biggest immediate impact, but a potential 2019 lineup of Phinisee, Durham, Smith, Davis and Moore sounds killer! I will say, I foresee a transfer of at least one of Green, CuJo and Durham after next year if we get at least two of Phinisee, Garland and Langford.

Looked at PGs in that list. Only two who'd be immediately eligible even look statistically decent, Daniel III from Howard, and Jiggets from Farleigh Dickinson. Both averaged double digits in scoring and 4+ APG (Daniel of played two games though), but both averaged more turnovers than Newkirk (who averaged 2.2/game).

Will say, scoring 21 on two bum ankles isn't easy. Joel Berry sure played well tonight. I hate UNC.

Am I wrong for not hating that roster though? I doubt it would win a B1G title, but with the stability of 3 seniors in the lineup (Collin, Josh and Rob), it could place top 5 in conference and take a 6 or 7 seed (maybe even sneak onto the 5 line if we win a big game or two and the B1G is up again next year).
