Just saw that Suds aaccepted an offer to play in the East West Shrine game this evening.

There was some amazing basketball played the last couple of nights.  

I think you are still overly optimistic.  I would say after what I saw tonight, we are a bottom of the B1G and maybe 80 - 90 range.  We certainly have personnel that should make us better, but the whole of the team is much less than the sum of it's parts. 

On an unrelate note  the Iowa vs Floria State game is a goo one.

I think in honor of our basketball team BTown Banners shoul ban the use of the letter "D".  If no " " is goo enough for our team it shoul be goo enough for us. :(

They will still keep the ugly girls out of IU.

I actually come from a very divided family.  !/2 of my siblings went to Purdue.  1/2 went to IU.  I despise every athletic program draped in Black and Old Gold, but as a University...... I have to admit that Indiana is lucky to have two world class institutions in IU and Purdue.  Hopefully the best University in Indiana will wake up and start recruiting him as well!  Good Luck to him.  Academically he could do a lot worse than getting a  degree from Purdue.

Not quite sure where to put this... I have a niece at Ole Miss looking for Grad Schools.  One of her professors has two degrees from IU, he sent her this email in regards to her letters for her Grad School Applications.[attachment=2987:IU-letter.jpg]

I think Wilson will get an extension, and Knorr has one more year to prove himself.  The defense HAS to get better.  I'm not 100% convinced the problems on Defense are caused by the Coordinator.  We had an awful defense under Mallory, was really thinking our defense would improve under Knorr, but it has not.  I am coming to believe it is all about the personnel at this point.  That does come back on both Wilson and Knorr, but I do think we will be better with a year under the belts of the defensive backs, and I believe we have a couple of guys waiting in the wings, that should help.

Playing in a cold climate is a whole let better than usual!  I'll take any bowl.  Extra work is always good, and maybe just maybe  Some stud defensive backs see us play, and think "HMMM, I could make a difference at Indiana."   :)

Wait.  Haven't we already tried an LSU retread once?   That didn't work out so well.    Personally, I like WIlson, and think he will be around for a while longer.     I don't like hiring a coach that has gotten fired from another university.  That has not worked for us at all in the past, and I don't see it working in the future.

Were you at the game last night, or watching online?    According to the talking heads at the BTN  this is the deepest team Coach Crean has had.   Talent wise they were coming close to comparing to the Hulls, Zeller, Oladipo teams.  :) Lack of depth and experience, has been our achilles heel.  I don't see it getting better any time soon.

I laughed as well.  I would settle for a good one myself.
