  1. I am surprised almost every year by the transfers.  They honestly don't make a lot of sense to me.  Most of them don't have a chance of making the NBA, in which case a degree from a B1G school (at zero cost) is going to mean more to them in the long run.  Of course I do understand that a 50 year old thinks a WHOLE lot differently than an 18 or 19 year old. :) and I know they are not technically transfers, but you are already counting on one (Troy) being gone.  and your comments lead me tobelieve you think that JB will be gone as well. That is now 5 roster spots that will be turning over.  Not insurmountable, but that leaves Hartman as the lone Senior on the team for next year, I believe.
  2. Taking 8 years to balance the roster is just one of the things I see wrong with the picture of IU basketball.  Like many things with Crean  it is way to early to say if we are even there for next year, though.  How many transfers will happen after the end of the season? I think many IU fans are simply getting tired of the roller coaster ride
  3. I am with you in regards to Crean, (to me it should be winning the B1G or making the FF to bring him back) but here is where I am troubled: I don't think we will ever get the same consistency out of a team like Wisconsin, or MSU with the current coaching situation. So when or how does the Administration say enough is enough?  and in the next year or two do you make a move just to make a move?  The fan base seems to gell around the idea of Stevens as a coach, but no one else gets anyone excited.  Personally I don't see Stevens leaving the NBA any time soon.
  4. Well the 5 gallons will technically last us two days.  We go really heavy on Saturday, and then cut way back on Sunday.  :) Oshkosh is in East Central Wisconsin.  About 60 miles south of Green Bay.
  5. Not sure I remember a game that Yogi has done absolutely nothing.
  6. as good as we started the game we have started bad the 2nd half. :(
  7. In one sense it has been nice having the refs let them play, but there have been an awful lot of bad no calls on both sides.
  8. WTH is Bryant doing back in the game right now.  Is Crean trying to have him foul out?
  9. Other than Bryant's fouls we have had a good start.  We are certainly playing with a lot more intensity than Iowa is right now.  Hope they can keep that intensity level up!
  10. Spent the morning cutting in our holes for sturgeon spearing Saturday morning!  Bought 5 gallons worth of Bloody Mary supplies.  Got the spears sharpened. I'm all ready! [attachment=3380:IMG_20160211_084001.jpg]
  11. I am skeptical too.  I seem to remember a couple of years ago how the guys talked about how hard he practiced them up until the very end.
  12. I guess I would say the same thing I said after the debacle that was Penn State.  One game in the big scheme of things doesn't matter.  You have to take the season as a whole.  We have seen, over the years, that we can have a big win, and then have a major melt down. Let's just wait and see how the season plays out.
  13. Saw an article this morning, that he owns a couple of Budweiser distributorships.
  14. Pike fishing last weekend sturgeon spearing this coming weekend.
  15. I think the 10 or 11 turnovers in the first 10 minutes is why we lost the game.  You give a lessor talented team the hope they can hang with you, and they will.
  16. All of this after one loss?  :)   I'm not happy, but I am going to try and wait until the end of the season before making my conclusions as to players and how the year went.
  17. It is a good thing PSU is an awful basketball team, or we would be down by 20.
  18. On pace for 40 turnovers tonight.
  19. Considering the game is 6 minutes old, I kind of hope they start soon. :)
  20. 5 turnovers in 4 minutes.  WOW!
  21. Why have we started so lousy the last couple of games?
  22. two turnovers in under two minutes,  Comeon guys  get with it!!!
