I really hope your prediction wins out.  I am in that dark place I seem to always get to with being a fan of IU Football.  Whatever hope I had for the season was dashed with the Rugers loss. 

A lot of them are not lazy and careless.  Just street ball.

Now that my son is off to college watching the Hoosiers just isn't the same.  :(  There is no one to yell and scream with me.

I sure hope you are wrong.  If we lose this game, it will the point in the season, that I begin to move on to other things, though.    Pretty much every year, the same thing happens,: 1) I start the year full of optimism.  2) Get really down when they lose a game they should of won. 3) They play a team out of their league and come close.  This picks me up for another week or two. 4)  Get down again, when they lose a game my unrealistic expectations told me they should win. 5) The team goes on a 3 game losing streak, and never recovers. 6) Get interested again when they play Purdue.  (At least the last two years, that has given me hope for the next season.)

I really hate to label this a "must win" game, but it is what it is.  We are almost true to form this year.  The only difference being we didn't tank one of the non conference games. (but we sure tried hard to tank the first one.)  Win here, and I think a bowl game is in our future.  Lose this Saturday, and I think we are looking at a 5 win season, and a new coach next year. 

I've given up saying "should win" when it comes to Indiana Football.  The team has proven year after year, that you never know.  :)

Link   I've got some news for Coach Calipari.  UK stunk last year as well.  The stench may not have been related to how well they played basketball, but the odor was still there. 

After reading the whole article, I honestly think that was done on purpose.  It made me cringe at first as well, but as I kept reading, I came to the conclusion it was a joke.

I think the line has more to do with Indiana's history than the current team.  We don't have the best track record of winning after a close loss.   I just hope this team has the ability to forget about the past.

Was listening to the game as I was driving back home after the Badger Game.  When Suds went down, I figured it was all over.   I made it home in time to watch the last 3 minutes.  Man was that close.   Makes me think we will be able to play with anyone the rest of the year.

Well I am having to DVR this game.  Going to be in Madison visiting my son.  I hope the game is worth watching when I get back home.

Probably not going to be pretty!  I am keeping our fingers crossed that OSU over looks us, for their next game!  :)

I am not trying to say that our defense hasn't been awful.  :)  I am just hoping that maybe the Wake Forest game was a wake up, and we improve to bad from awful. 

At some point these kids have got to get a clue.  I don't know what it is going to take, though.
