#5 IUFB @ #2 Ohio State - 11/23/24 at Noon on FOX

No doubt. I never look forward to the Dr. Jellyfinger exam. When I complain about it my explains the PAP smear procedure and I quit talking. -
On paper, they are better. They spent crazy money on this team because they couldn't stand losing to Michigan. They are probably the best team in the country and losing in their house would be no disgrace. But, the games aren't played on paper and our guys have something to prove. We may not win, but I can guarantee this IU team won't roll over for anyone.

Who should or shouldn't be number 1 doesn't matter if we keep on winning. We control our destiny.

Coach Cignetti is/was never insecure. Google him. He did what he needed to do to breathe some life into this program. DD is an entertainer. Defending the previous staff was always going to be a losing proposition. Allen, although I liked him as a person, was never going to be able to elevate IU football. We have seen what someone with a vision and a plan can do. Coach Cignetti, college football coach of the year.

What CCC has done this year is unprecedented. I was hoping for a bowl game this year. We have far exceeded that at this point. Now we are talking about being one of 12 teams to be in the college football playoffs. IU football playing for a national championship in football. When we have ever imagined that. This team, in my opinion, is over achieving. The sum is greater than the parts. We have ten wins. In football. I hope we don't take this for granted. Seasons like this don't come around very often. -
We have to keep in mind that Michigan's roster is full of 4 and 5 star players. Ours, not so much. Talent matters and so does coaching. I love beating these self entitled programs. I would have liked another blowout, but remember who we were last year compared to now. This was a great team win. We have a complete football team in all phases of the game. We'll go to OSU and play our ***** off. Win or lose this the best IU football team I have ever seen.

Height is extremely important in lawn mowing. I'd have fired him too.

I love everything about CCC but I do think that we kinda caught lightning in a bottle this season. We need to make sure that he is here next season and has a chance to build a sustainable program. I once watched a movie where a leading character said that the way to a women's heart was "an unexpected gift at an unexpected time". This season has been that unexpected gift. -
No. I think this team will embrace the challenge and at the very least, the opportunity to play for a national championship. Coach Cig as well. It's that whole 'chip on the shoulder' thing.

I want ND. I would love to us knock the smug off their faces.

Sometimes when you get older and move up to a higher level, you want to enjoy the fruits of your labor and not move on just to start over. Money only means so much, especially if you don't need more. CCC is a hero here. He is the embodiment of the Hoosier work ethic. The pressure at a higher profile place, after what he has done here, would be astronomical. Sometimes being comfortable in a position is important, especially after you have proven you can succeed.
