  1. This team....oh, never mind!
  2. Waiting for the D to show up.
  3. Now there's a visual that's going to be hard to get out of my head this holiday season!
  4. That McRoberts has some talent shouldn't be surprising given that he was named to the Indiana All-Star team coming out of high school.
  5. The scholarship decision is way above my pay grade. But how unusual it is for a kid on scholarship at a school to transfer, quit basketball completely, and then come back a year later and play with the passion he does. McRoberts is one of most unique situations I've ever seen.
  6. It's great to see minutes being earned again and not just handed out like candy on Halloween. Guys will be unhappy and likely leave, but that's OK. The players left will be the ones who are tough enough to play for Coach Miller.
  7. If RP is as good as he seems, I can see CAM handing him the keys to the offense. He'll have to earn it in practice of course, but I think RP is what Coach is looking for in a point guard.
  8. What is really becoming apparent is CAM IS really good at coaching basketball!
  9. I can't speak about NBA officiating because I don't watch often and I agree that consistency should be the goal. I just don't think what we have now will change until the NCAA decides it needs to. I haven't heard coaches pressing the issue and I think it needs to start with them. I know I wouldn't want to put on a stripped shirt and try to do that job.
  10. I hate arguing the quality of officiating because just about every fan base thinks their team gets the short end. If you want to call it consistently bad, no argument from me. But, it's important to remember it's human beings making these calls in real time without the benefit of what we see on slow motion replays from multiple angles. And no, I don't want to see every call reviewed to get it right.
  11. As excited as I am about winning that game, I hope we don't depend on a kid missing two free throws in the future to put us in a position to win. That part was pure good fortune. The rest was outstanding determination and toughness the likes of which we haven't seen from an Indiana team in a long time. That toughness with more talent is going to be a lot of fun.
  12. I don't see him having this type of game consistently. Good, but not this good. Coaches will start to game plan to not let him beat them.
  13. Great win for the team and for the program. I had them dead and buried four or five times today. So happy to have been wrong. McRoberts and Morgan were terrific! Everyone else, a mixed bag or worse. This game was won on the defensive end with just enough offense to get the job done. Hopefully, the team sees this as the way forward this season.
  14. What has happened to Davis? Green might have the lowest bb Ian on the team.
  15. Momentum killing errors at critical times is becoming this team's identity.
  16. In a couple of years our freshmen may be completely irrelevant given the kids CAM has coming in and is recruiting.
  17. I think I'm ready for some new players.
  18. Nothing wrong with the offense, just no one can hit a shot. Have we ever looked good in BLF?
  19. How many threes have we missed in a row now? Jeesh!!
  20. I am so looking forward to CAM's offense being run by a talented, true point guard. Watching this kid play at IU is going to be a treat.
  21. I've been on the three year plan from the start, mostly because of the things I've heard CAM say. Given the way this offense gets inside, imagine how good we will look when we have shooters who can knock down threes.
  22. For me this is the key. Immediate impact players who are in the program for more than one year. One-and-dones are fine if they are added to a solid base of upperclassmen. Otherwise, they have the potential to be disruptive to the stability and growth of the program.
  23. Snowflakes are so beautiful, each one so unique and delicate. Meant to bring a bit of joy to a cold, dark, and desolate winter. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
  24. For me, it started with CAM saying it takes about three years to get his defensive principles working the way he wants. Also, year two will be the first of his guys in the program. By year three he'll have two of his classes on campus so I would hope we will have a good idea what HIS team's look like. I don't put specific expectations on the timeline but I want to see a steady rise in the conference standings and, hopefully, a big dance appearance next year. I do want to see us consistently relevant nationally after he has completed a recruiting cycle.
